Incontra il nostro autista che parla inglese nel tuo hotel su una comoda Mercedes-Benz per iniziare il viaggio verso la bellissima Cortona: racchiuso da mura di pietra risalenti all'epoca etrusca e romana, si trova sulla cima di una collina a circa 600 metri (circa 1968 piedi) sopra il livello del mare. Questa posizione dominante sulla valle offre una vista spettacolare da tutta la città della valle circostante e persino dal Lago Trasimeno. La città è diventata molto popolare negli ultimi dieci anni grazie al libro di Frances Mayes, Under the Tuscan Sun (e il film con Diane Lane) ambientato a Cortona; il protagonista si innamora immediatamente della città, della sua gente e della villa Bramasole che acquista e ripara. Tempo per rilassarsi o esplorare la zona, l'autista suggerirà le cose migliori da fare.
Parti alle 11.30 per un delizioso pranzo leggero in una cantina di famiglia. Proseguimento per Montepulciano in 30 minuti di relax sulle colline circondate da paesaggi mozzafiato .... ovviamente il conducente può fermare la macchina ogni volta che lo si desidera, se si desidera scattare foto. What a wonderful way to experience Tuscany. Alex went above and beyond to make our day spectacular. Our tour guide was Massimo and he was terrific in several ways, the first of which was his careful and relatively slow driving. This made the travel quite comfortable, especially for our family members who volunteered for the van’s third row. From our perspective, Cortona is the nicest Italian town we visited, and the other way Massimo excelled was by letting us stay much longer instead of traveling on to Montepulciano as the tour design called for. So as Massimo returned us to our Villa, my family agreed that we very much enjoyed the day!

Alessandro was our guide and he expertly guided us through a visit to the charming Tuscan towns of Cortona & Montepulciano. Ours was a private tour and Alessandro was attentive to our wishes which allowed us to choose how much time to spend in each locale.
