Una volta selezionato il punto di raccolta di vostra scelta, inizieremo il viaggio verso la città di Ávila. Per prima cosa ci recheremo alla Cattedrale, una meraviglia dello stile gotico risalente all'XI e XII secolo. Poi faremo una passeggiata per la città, dove vedremo la Plaza del Mercado Chico, la Chiesa di San Juan Bautista, il luogo in cui fu battezzata Santa Teresa de Jesús e arriveremo al Convento di Santa Teresa, accanto al quale si trova la sala delle reliquie. Una volta vista la città, ci recheremo al monumento dei quattro poli per scattare delle straordinarie fotografie della città. In seguito ci sposteremo a Segovia per un viaggio di 50 minuti in auto, dove ci fermeremo per il pranzo vicino alla Plaza Mayor e alla Cattedrale. Una volta mangiato, faremo di nuovo una passeggiata per scoprire l'Acquedotto e l'Alcazar. Dopo averla visitata, torneremo a Madrid.

Da Ávila faremo un viaggio di un'ora fino a Segovia. In questo viaggio potrai goderti il paesaggio della catena montuosa del Guadarrama. Una volta arrivati a Plaza Mayor avrai tempo libero per pranzo.
La Cattedrale di Segovia, maestosa opera del tardo gotico spagnolo, si erge come un imponente simbolo sullo skyline di Segovia. La sua imponente torre, detta della “Signora delle Cattedrali”, domina il paesaggio urbano. Costruita tra il XVI e il XVIII secolo, la cattedrale colpisce per la sua splendida facciata, i suoi interni riccamente decorati e la sua storia legata ai reali spagnoli.
L'Alcázar di Segovia è un imponente castello situato sulla cima di una collina rocciosa a Segovia, in Spagna. Il suo design combina elementi di architettura militare e sontuosa, con torri, merli e uno spettacolare patio interno. È uno dei castelli più emblematici della Spagna, con una lunga storia che risale al XII secolo e nel corso dei secoli è stato utilizzato come residenza reale, prigione e accademia di artiglieria.
L'Acquedotto di Segovia è un'imponente struttura romana risalente al I secolo d.C. Dall'acquedotto di Segovia faremo il viaggio di ritorno. Un'ora e quindici minuti fino a raggiungere il punto di partenza a Madrid.

Perfect Day journey with Joan from beginning to finish. Charming and knowledgeable guide-driver arrived on time for our hotel pickup in a luxury comfort van. Excellent presentation in well spoken English of the history from the Phoenician to present day Spain. He described in detail each historical or cultural aspect of the monuments in Avila and Segovia and the sights along the way. Joan tour is worth every penny, Enjoy !!!

I cannot say enough great things about our tour with Joan. My husband, my two teenagers and I spent an incredible day touring Avila and Segovia. Joan is so knowledgeable about the history, geography, architecture, and landscape of the area. His energy and enthusiasm are infectious, and he’s really fun. He set our expectations early in the day and continued to update us throughout, so we knew exactly what was next, but he also easily adjusted based on our interests. He took a ton of great photos of us. The van was very comfortable too. You will not be disappointed.
A wonderful family experience We did this tour of Avila and Segovia as a family during the month of March and it was a fantastic experience. From the first moment, Joan made us feel comfortable and became an excellent guide. He accompanied us throughout the tour, explaining clearly and enthusiastically the history of each site we visited. Incredible experience in Avila and Segovia! We did a 9-hour tour of Avila and Segovia and couldn't be happier. The driver was much more than that: he explained in detail the history of each place, accompanied us throughout the day and showed his passion for what he does. Both Avila and Segovia surprised us for their beauty and cultural richness, but the difference was made by Joan, who made everything enjoyable, interesting and very special.
