Santuario di Nostra Signora del Libano situato sulla cima dei monti Jounieh che domina la splendida baia della città. L'antica città di Byblos è il sito archeologico più ricco del Libano con aree ricreative, caffè all'aperto, ottimi cibi e bar locali. Inizia la giornata con un prelievo dal tuo indirizzo di Beirut e dirigiti verso le incantevoli e misteriose grotte di Jeitta, a breve distanza in auto da Beirut, per poi raggiungere Harissa con la funivia. Il Santuario di "Nostra Signora del Libano" si affaccia sulla baia della Città. La prossima è Byblos o Jbeil, la più antica città fenicia abitata del Mediterraneo dove è nato l'alfabeto. Un viaggio stradale medio da Beirut a Jeita Grottos dove inizi la tua prima visita prendendo una funivia per la grotta superiore. Una piacevole passeggiata all'interno, mostra quanto sia meravigliosa la natura con tutte le stalattiti e stalagmiti che si innalzano qua e là formando queste forme mozzafiato ... Sulla via d'uscita, puoi prendere il treno turistico fino alla grotta inferiore, o semplicemente camminare per pochi minuti godendo le scene della valle del fiume Dog fino a raggiungere il 2 ° ingresso. Stessa procedura, ma questa volta il capitano vi incontrerà lì e vi inviterà a una breve corsa su una barca da pesca con acqua dolce e fredda. Allenati o cammina verso l'uscita, dove la tua guida privata ti aspetterà all'uscita.

On this trip we went to Lebanon, Israel and Jordan. We used 3 different tour companies and Dave´s was, by far, the best. We made several trips with them, some just by ourselves, others in a group. The guides were always pleasant and knowledgeable. They took us to, or recommended nice restaurants, good but not terrible expensive and certainly, no "tourist traps". Same things for the stores. They were not rushing us or excessively worrying about the clock. I will certainly recommend them to my friends and use them again, should the opportunity arise.

Lebanon is a really beautiful country, with many sites of interest that are worth visiting, in particular Byblos and Jeita but not only these. I would strongly recommend to contact Dave’s agency, Dave is a high professional and is able to give you a perfect and complete overview of the country and the sites to be visited, other than being a really nice person.

I cannot even begin to explain the love I now have for Lebanon! I have been to over 40 countries and yet I struggle to think of another country that has as much variety and diversity as Lebanon does! Firstly, the people are genuinely wonderful. Not one day passed where I wasn't greeted with a smile, a kind word and offers of help from literally everyone I encountered during my trip. Secondly, the wide range of opportunities for a fun day out in Lebanon is truly amazing. In one day, I explored the ancient sites in Byblos, walked down beautiful, cobbled lanes as I shopped in the souks, strolled along the stunning port, visited a pre-historic cave at Jeita and witnessed awe-inspiring views at Harissa. I selected to travel with Dave Lebanon Tours due to the many outstanding reviews I read and I wasn't disappointed! This has to be the most professional tour company around. My guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and will explain the history of Lebanon in general as well as go in to great detail at each site visited. He was also extremely flexible and very much just wanted me to be happy and enjoy my trip. The cost was extremely reasonable and it was helpful that the entry to all of the sites was included in the price (not all agencies offer this!) - it meant I could just relax and enjoy the day. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the full day tour! All the sights and stops were great places to visit and experience but the Jeita Grotto in particular stands out from the rest, it really is a must see! Dave is an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, relaxed, polite and a great guy all round! He provided a first class experience, answered all our questions, allowed us time to go to the shops at all our stops and was kind enough to recommend, shops, areas and other places to go to and see during the rest of our stay in Beirut.
