Immersa nel cuore dell'Algarve, la pittoresca cittadina di Loulé emana un fascino che cattura l'essenza della campagna dell'Algarve. Visiteremo il mercato municipale di Loulé, uno dei migliori esempi di stile revivalista arabo - Le strade della città vecchia di Loulé con le sue case tradizionali e dove vedrai il maestro del rame lavorare la sua tradizionale cataplana e altri oggetti, le signore locali che tessono palme nane le foglie degli alberi, cucendo e legando ogni ramo, producendo tanti oggetti diversi: borse, culle, cestini e oggetti più tradizionali o innovativi. - La tradizionale via dello shopping acciottolata
L'architettura unica di Olhão crea un panorama urbano particolare. Una delle caratteristiche più iconiche di Olhão è la sua rete di case in stile cubista. Queste strutture cubiste mettono in mostra lo spirito artistico della città e l'approccio unico all'architettura. La prima tappa del nostro tour è il mercato comunale. Situato sul lungomare, questo edificio risalta tra le case bianche con i suoi muri di mattoni rossi e le cupole verdi. Ci sono due sezioni: una con frutta e verdura e prodotti secchi locali, e un'altra dedicata esclusivamente al pesce e ai frutti di mare, come vongole, cozze e ostriche. Cammineremo verso il centro città lungo le strade tradizionali dove troverai i tradizionali edifici portoghesi con le loro tradizionali piastrelle e balconi in ferro e vedrai anche le case cubiste.

Benvenuti a Faro, la capitale della nostra splendida regione dell'Algarve! Il nostro tour ti condurrà in un viaggio affascinante attraverso questa incantevole città, conosciuta per la sua storia, i suoi splendidi paesaggi e la sua vivace cultura. La nostra prima tappa è nel cuore di Faro, la Città Vecchia. Visiteremo la Cattedrale di Faro, una struttura religiosa gotica che offre uno sguardo al passato e viste panoramiche sulla città dalla terrazza panoramica del Campanile. Poiché Faro ospita anche il bellissimo Parco Naturale Ria Formosa, un'area protetta con diversi ecosistemi, saline e un'abbondanza di specie di uccelli, dalla cima della Cattedrale possiamo ammirare quella splendida vista. Il nostro tour ci porterà poi all'Arco da Vila, uno degli antichi ingressi alla città. Durante la nostra visita a Faro, avrai l'opportunità di attraversare le tradizionali vie dello shopping e passeggiare per le strade acciottolate.

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful days with Johnny. He arrived every morning at our hotel on time and always happy. He made sure we saw all the most important places but also allowed for us to customize our daily tours. As a local and having grown up in the Algarves,, Johnny's history is invaluable. We learned so very much. Whether you tour 1 day or 5 days, Johnny is who you need to tour with.

What a fabulous day Johnny lined for us! We chose a private tour due to our limited time in the Algarve region. We rate tours based on 1) communication, 2) itinerary, 3) information, 4) organization and 5) pricing. The communication was great. We were notified and reminded of the pick up time. Johnny asked what we wanted to do and see. He interjected several stops that proved to be interesting, so our itinerary included a visit to local artisans, including a coppersmith and a basket weaver. We visited the local markets in Loulé and in Olhão. The churches and cathedrals we visited were breathtaking! And all that time Johnny was explaining the history of, the customs, the traditions of each place. The pricing was agreed upon up front. At the end of the day, we felt we certainly got our money’s worth. To have a tour guide put so much enthusiasm and pride in the Algarve and Portugal made this tour very special and meaningful. Johnny Tours is one of the best company I have ever had the pleasure to tour with. Joao is very friendly, professional and kind. His transport is brand new and comfortable. Johnny organized a 23 person all day tour that took us to Loule , Tavira , the Quinta da Tor winery and a few other stops. It was very good value for our money , a good time was had by all and Johnny and his cohort Nelson are both affable and knowledgeable guides. We also had used Johnny’s tours to arrange transport for the majority of our group from Lisbon to the Rocha Brava resort and a smaller group transport from The resort to Seville, Spain I would highly recommend this company for any trips you’re considering
