Il tour inizia con una partenza prima dell'alba tra le 4:30 e le 4:40, a seconda del periodo dell'anno. Tuk Tuk e il pick-up della guida dal tuo hotel per l'alba fuori Angkor Wat o entra nel grande tempio nell'oscurità dal lato occidentale poco visitato, e striscia lungo i corridoi orribili di clausura oltre il tratto più lungo di bassorilievi del mondo (nota: questo può essere fatto dopo l'alba). Angkor Wat è un complesso di templi di Angkor, in Cambogia, costruito per il re Suryavarman II all'inizio del XII secolo come tempio di stato e capitale. Essendo il tempio meglio conservato del sito, è l'unico ad essere rimasto un importante centro religioso sin dalla sua fondazione: prima indù, dedicato al dio Vishnu, poi buddista. È l'edificio religioso più grande del mondo e il tempio è in cima all'alto stile classico dell'architettura Khmer.

Il Bayon è un tempio Khmer riccamente decorato ad Angkor in Cambogia. Costruito alla fine del XII o all'inizio del XIII secolo come tempio di stato del re buddista Mahayana Jayavarman VII, il Bayon si trova al centro della capitale di Jayavarman, Angkor Thom. Una peculiarità del Bayon è l'assenza di un muro di cinta. È, tuttavia, protetto dalle mura che circondano la città di Angkor Thom. Il piano di base del Bayon è semplice e comprende tre livelli (1-3). Il primo e il secondo livello sono gallerie quadrate con bassorilievi. Un santuario centrale circolare domina il terzo livello. Lo stato di rovina di Ta Prohm è uno stato di bellezza, che viene indagato con gioia e lasciato con rimpianto. Ta Prohm si trova a sud-ovest del Mebon orientale e ad est di Angkor Thom. Il suo recinto esterno è vicino all'angolo di Banteay Kdei. È possibile accedervi inserendo il monumento da ovest e partendo dall'ingresso est. Suggerimento: Ta Prohm è particolarmente sereno e bello al mattino presto. Una torcia e una bussola sono utili per visitare questo tempio in ogni momento. Fu costruito tra la metà del XII secolo e l'inizio del XIII secolo (1186) dal re Jayavarman VII, dedicato alla madre del re (buddista) replica dello stile dell'arte Bayon. Ta Prohm è tra i più grandi monumenti del complesso di Angkor, la scruta dà un'idea delle dimensioni del tempio. Il complesso comprendeva 260 statue di divinità, 39 torri con pinnacoli e 566 gruppi di residenze. Ta Prohm comprende una serie di edifici lunghi e bassi posti su un livello, che sono chiusi da una parete rettangolare di laterite (600 per 1.000 metri, 1.959 per 3.281 piedi). Sono ancora visibili solo le tracce del muro. Il centro del monumento è raggiunto da una serie di torri collegate con passaggi. Questa disposizione costituisce una "specie di via sacra nel cuore del monumento"; le gallerie di tre quadrati racchiudono l'area.

I had an amazing time spending the day with some of my boys along with my guide and driver, Sath and Mr. Sim. We were provided with plenty of water from a cooler on the tuk tuk along with cold damp towels to cool off between walks and rides. The tour was incredibly in depth, as we hit multiple locations around the area and learned a ton of history. I’d highly recommend Sath and Mr. Sim!
Our guide Sath and driver Mr. Sim were excellent guides! Myself and two other friends had a great time waking up early in the morning to catch such a great sunset at Angkor Watt. Not only did they pick us up from our hotel bright and early they made sure our experience was everything as promised. Sath was extremely knowledgeable about the sacred area and it was very apparent that he wanted all of us to enjoy the beautiful site. Not a better duo to explore the beauties of Angkor Watt and the surrounding temples with!
Sath is one of the friendliest people I have met while traveling through Asia for the past 2 months. He's very funny, and extremely knowledgeable on all information regarding the tour, as well as smaller details most do not catch on. He gave us some time in between the tour for breakfast, stopped for bathrooms, and was very patient and easy going the whole time. Overall great experience, genuinely think you can’t find a better guide.

Booked this tour last minute and it didn't disappoint. It was a wonderful experience with San as our tour guide and Sem as our tuk tuk driver. We did the sunrise tour - San took us to a perfect spot to watch the sunrise and even grabbed us a coffee while we waited. He was very knowledgeable throughout the tour and easy to talk to. Sem was always waiting with the tuk tuk and had cold water and cold herbal towels waiting for us, which was much appreciated. They took us to a nice café to get a bite and a cold drink before our last temple. I wouldn't hesitate to book again to see more if we are ever back.

From the first second before the tour even started until the end everything went perfectly - short communication beforehand, smooth pick up and drop off, perfect spots and timing to see and capture the best sunrise moments at Angkor Wat and explore the other temples. Nak was knowledgeable, friendly, and made every place come alive with interesting stories, while Phal ensured a smooth and comfortable journey throughout. Everything was perfectly organized, and we truly enjoyed every moment.
Hiring a private guide was the best decision for us. We are a retired couple and like to pause and rest at times. Also, some of the stairs were challenging for us, so our guide, Sath, was very helpful. The driver, Mr. Sim, always had cool wash cloths ready to cool us down and cold water available. A very pleasant and informative 7 hour day. Sath answered many questions and taught us a lot. He tailored the tour to our needs which we appreciated.
Sophy our guide and Mrs. Channy our Tuk Tuk driver were excellent. My friend and I travelled to Siem Reap for the first time, and we were a little skeptical about safety, but Sophy made sure we were comfortable and always stayed by us, provided great information about e the Temples. Sophy picked us up from our hotel on time and helped us with a great spot to sit at, to see the serene and beautiful Angkor Wat during the sunrise. He is an awesome guide and a great photographer!
