We had a wonderful visit to the Chapultepec castle with Victor, our guide. He was on time to pick us up with his driver. There is an inclined path to walk to the entrance from the road .My wife used a wheelchair rented with the tour company and Vittor was very patient, helpful and attentive- took us in the elevator inside the castle and made this trip really enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable and well informed about the history of Mexico.

Unfortunately our pickup was a half hour late, and then it took another 30 minutes to be picked up at the end of the tour. Not sure if this was all due to CDMX traffic or just poor planning but, in retrospect, it would have been faster and easier to catch an Uber. Roberto, our guide, was lovely and he seemed to be very knowledgeable, but his English was weak so we did not get as much out of the tour as we had hoped. That said, the castle was fabulous, especially the residence, and Roberto tried very hard to answer our questions and attend to our needs.

We enjoyed our private tour. Our guide, Ernesto added valuable historical context and subtext, and he highlighted the more significant artifacts and figures. I highly recommend a private tour to get more bang for buck and cultural impact. Rather than just wonder thru the exhibits aimlessly. Particularly if you do not speak Spanish fluently. Museums in Mexico have very little English descriptions on the exhibits (which is a “me” problem for not speaking better Spanish). But it is very exhausting to try and read/interpret descriptions all day. It just slows you down.

we were very glad we did this tour. Our guide was very informative. You can certainly visit the castle by yourself, but having a guide, made it such a better experience. Many parts of the castle and the museum don’t have much signage, or only signs in Spanish. And we had booked transportation to and from the castle, so the whole thing was very pleasant, seamless and easy, getting picked up at our accommodations and brought back at the end.

Private tour is really worth it. The Epic Journey, the local company did a great job. We were picked up from the hotel on time. The guide was nice, pleasant and knowledgeable. We did have a good time.

Roberto was a knowledgable guide and adapted the tour to meet our time constraints. He also did a great job of figuring out ways to make the visit to Chapultepec more accesible for my in-laws who have some physical restrictions. Manuel our driver stayed with our luggage and then expertly navigated traffic to get us to the airport on time. This was the perfect way for our group to access this amazing historical venue.

My family and I had an unforgettable experience at Chapultepec Castle with excellent tour guides. Diego C. and his wife were very knowledgeable and made the tour even more enjoyable. They also took wonderful pictures of us! Thank you!

Fabulous trip with Alberto! He was so knowledgeable and it was a pleasure exploring the Castle with him. Was worth it to have a private guide take us rather than going on our own and not hearing the history and the past history of Mexico. FYI…Alberto is fluent in Chinese for foreign travelers to Mexico…request him!, Definitely would recommend the tour! Make sure transportation and entrance fees included:)
