Tour privato a Pompei, Sorrento e Positano.

From start to finish Domenico driving Positano, Sorrento and Lunch in Pompeii along with Maria a private tour of Pompeii delivered an exceptional experience. They both exceeded our expectations. We had some mobility challenges and they made sure that we were not rushed while making sure we saw everything we wanted to. Domenico was dressed in professional attire and the vehicle was clean and the most comfortable we experienced so far.

Domenico of World Tours was already waiting for us when we got off our cruise ship in Naples, ready to whisk us off for a day we will always remember. On this cruise, we booked 5 private shore excursions at different port stops. Of all of them, Domenico was the first driver we got that dressed professionally, had cold water bottles for our group of 8 for the entire day. This was much appreciated considering how hot it was in Italy. Domenico picked us up in an air-conditioned Mercedes Sprinter Van that was very clean and spacious. We had lots of room and were very comfortable. The private tour we booked took us to Positano first. The views were incredible, right out of a postcard or travel book. We stopped to take pictures and were given time to buy souvenirs at a nearby stand. Next, we drove to Sorrento where we were dropped off at the main square. We had an hour free time here to do some shopping, walk around and enjoyed some deliciously refreshing gelato too. Domenico was kind to make lunch reservations for us near Pompeii, our next stop. The restaurant was nice, the staff was friendly and the food was good but a bit overpriced. The bill also included a cover charge and a service charge. In comparison, we had better food that cost us ⅓ of what we paid here in Greece. However, It was nice for our group to be able to sit and have lunch together outside of the cruise ship. Lastly, Pompeii. One word, amazing!! The tickets for Pompeii were not a part of our private tour package which included a private guide (Maria). We paid an additional 24 euro each person. Definitely worth the entry price. Our private tour guide inside Pompeii was with Maria and she was very knowledgeable on the history of Pompeii and shared so much with us! She even took us to the new excavation site as well which was remarkable seeing the latest discoveries as it was unearthed. It was a job site in process. Our family of 8 consisted of members ages 19-85. Maria was very considerate that we had 2 elderly members in their 80s and we were not rushed. She is very kind and we enjoyed the private tour of Pompeii she provided. Ask for her, she is very good!! All in all, we had a wonderful day seeing everything we had wanted to see on this day trip and Domenico made sure of that. We highly recommend booking your private tour with Domenico and World Tours, he is the best!!!

We had an amazing day with our guide Gino. He was courteous, kind and very knowledgeable. He took us to the best locations for photos and to the Limoncello factory which was a treat. His communication was excellent when it came to pick up/drop off locations and times! I highly recommend Gino and when we come back I will request him!

Raffaele was an excellent guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts. He was very patient with our large family (with 5 kids)! We adjusted our plans during the day based on how the kids were feeling. Such a wonderful day! Thank you!

Martina picked us up at the cruise terminal. She was prompt, courteous, and kind. Her vehicle was very comfortable. She brought us to some viewpoints on the Amalfi Coast where we could see Positano and then she dropped us off in the center square of Sorento where we had two hours to sight see, shop, and have lunch. It was wonderful. Then she brought us to Pompeii where we had a private tour guide, Anna. It was really incredible! The personal service made our day even more special.

Our tour with Rafaelle was truly unforgettable! We enjoyed a breathtaking drive up to Positano, soaked in the charm of beautiful Sorrento, and explored the fascinating ruins of Pompeii. Rafaelle’s attentiveness, warmth, and deep knowledge of the area made this one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Italy!

Rafael took such great care of us! He took us to a beautiful scenic view of Positano and helped us take pictures. Next he delivered us to Sorrento where we enjoyed coffee and shopping. In the afternoon he took us for pizza before delivering us to our guide for a tour of Pompeii. Then he safely delivered us back to our ship. The whole day with him was delightful, he was so charming and had so much information about the area and history. He really made the tour for me-highly recommend!
