John was a fantastic tour guide. Our two hours plus of Rotterdam gave us an excellent personal experience getting to know this unique city. John is a native of the area and at age 83 provided enriching insight of any of the sights (and you cannot out walk him!). Fun city to explore, but do the tour with John, both a must.
There was 3 of us plus Lara our private tour guide. We requested to see things that we wouldn't know about and things that were different.
Carlos was a great guide! He shared local knowledge with a strong personality to deliver a wonderful experience for us both. Rotterdam is a great city and with Carlos’ help we got to experience this. Our guide was Lara, and she was excellent. She communicated with us about a week prior to our arrival so we could discuss what we wanted to see and what we needed to learn as we would be staying in Rotterdam for a week. She was right on time, meeting us at our hotel, and we began our tour from there. We spent about two hours walking through the various parts of town, including the houses and Market hall. she was very educational on what we might want to come back and see on our own as well as some suggestions for day trips. She gave us a good orientation of the public transport system, which we had requested so we could get around more easily. She also answered our many questions around daily life here, including grocery store etiquette as well as cultural norms and foods we should try. We really enjoyed our day and since we booked her on our first full day in Rotterdam, we feel much more prepared of what we will want to do each day while we are here She also followed up with an email with additional things we may want to do after our tours, so that was awesome!
Ivan my tour guide was absolutely amazing! I traveled solo so I was a bit apprehensive of this type of tour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very personable. In two hours, he showed me the highlights of Rotterdam. He answered questions and made me feel very comfortable in a new city. My next few days in Rotterdam were the best because of his recommendations and the places we went.
Kings day very loud and crowded modern city worth few hours of your time. My tour guide was a little soft spoken
I had a very nice 4h-biketour through Rotterdam. The tourguide Rénia was very friendly and pofessional and could give very detailed information about the whole city, history and culture. I can recommend her in any case and I would book the tour again.
