Our guide Aimee Linh was extremely funny and relatable. Very informative to details of historical events. She helped us learn to do oragami which was a fun experience. Definitely recommend doing more than 3 hours. Doing it at night gives you more of a calm and less crowded experience.
I booked a private tour in Hiroshima for 3 hours with Tripadvisor and then received email from Viator being the provider then another email from Lokafy the final provider. The tour cost around $285 AUD but as there are 3 companies involved in the process the guide probably only received a small amount. We would have preferred more historical detail about the peace park which we were warned in the email from Lokafy as they informed us that the guide would be more like a local friend. I wouldn’t t recommend booking a guide using this process.
Nora was lovely, she did everything because we felt comfortable and adapted to us as if we were family. I knew the Japanese culture thanks to knowing how to be THANK YOU SO MUCH NORA ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS 🥰
It was a great tour. We received a special experience and learned much about the history of Hiroshima. The guide ist a historian and passionate with his Work.
We took a 2-hour tour of Hiroshima’s Peace Park with Aimee and had a great experience! She was knowledgeable, clear in her explanations, and kept the pace of the tour just right. Aimee covered the key historical points and added helpful context that made the visit more meaningful. The tour was well-organized and easy to follow. I would definitely do a tour with her again.
We achieved what we set out to do . Should have left more time for the museum which really had the most comprehensive history and info !
Aimee Linh was wonderful on this tour. My husband has mobility issues and she made sure he was OK the whole time, very informative, knowledgeable, very funny and accommodating! She truly is a gem! Do book this tour!
Nora was very knowledgeable about the history, traditions, not only of Hiroshima, but all of Japan. She was incredibly patient explaining and giving context of the history to our teen children, even of the difficult parts. It was a very pleasant day that felt like a visit with a relative than a guided tour.
Our dear guide, Nora, was fantastic! It was our first day in Japan, and she enlightened us with so many interesting facts and showed us around. Being an English and Philosophy teacher, and on top of that, a tea master, we were incredibly lucky to have her! It was an incredibly beautiful afternoon for us!
We had an excellent experience of Hiroshima with our lovely guide Emi. As a Hiroshima local she had some fascinating insights to share which really enriched the experience. We only had a few hours to see the highlights & so glad we had Emi to guide us.
