Cammineremo sul molo di fronte al Palazzo Reale. Qui gli ospiti del palazzo potevano imbarcarsi direttamente, usando una passerella coperta diretta, sostituita con la moderna autostrada

Questa tipica piazzetta era uno dei lavatoi pubblici utilizzati fino all'inizio del XX secolo. Il quartiere è stato recentemente rinnovato e ora è un piacevole spazio pubblico nella città vecchia
Nel centro storico ci sono molte eleganti residenze private che, se necessario, furono utilizzate dal XIV secolo per l'ospitalità degli illustri ospiti della Repubblica e per i clienti dei banchieri genovesi. Nel 2006, 42 di queste dimore sono state dichiarate patrimonio dell'UNESCO.
Centro geometrico e cuore della città, la vivace Piazza è un concentrato di importanti istituzioni, come il Palazzo Ducale, il Teatro dell'Opera, la Nuova Borsa e la sede del governo locale, la Regione Liguria
La cattedrale medievale domina con la sua facciata a strisce il vivace quartiere. Il suo interno riccamente affrescato ospita le reliquie del protettore di Genova, San Giovanni Battista
Capolavoro dell'architettura barocca, questa chiesa è un trionfo di oro e marmi e contiene incredibili opere d'arte, tra cui due dipinti di P.P. Rubens
Il lungomare di Genova è stato interamente rinnovato per le celebrazioni del 1992 dedicate a C. Columbus. Con l'apertura dell'Acquario è diventato il quartiere iconico Ci sono molti divertimenti, come il Bigo (un ascensore panoramico), l'Acquario, la Ruota, ecc.
Senza dubbio questo museo è uno dei più interessanti della città, quindi strettamente connesso con la sua natura più profonda; una sezione è dedicata a Cristoforo Colombo, mentre il piano superiore è interamente dedicato all'emigrazione che ha caratterizzato l'Italia negli ultimi due secoli e all'immigrazione che caratterizza l'intero continente in questi giorni

Our guide was excellent!!! She gave us lots of information and was fun to be with. I would highly recommend this tour to see the old part of town.
We kicked off our visit with Antonella’s walking tour. She was engaging and welcoming for our group of three. On this cold and sunny day we toured the streets of the old city, walked Le Strade Nuove and the Palazzi dei Rolli, the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Piazz De Ferrari, and the Arco Della Vittoria, a monument to fallen Genovese soldiers in WWI. She shared her passion for Genova including its history, and where to get some yummy food and espresso.
I highly recommend this tour and Antonella as a guide. We were visiting Genoa as part of our cruise and we wanted to find out more about this city. Antonella was waiting for us at the cruise terminal and then escorted us around Genoa. The tour itself was very interesting and the four of us had a wonderful day. Antonella is a very knowledgeable and experienced guide. She is also very engaging and was happy to answer any questions we had. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. You will have a great day.

Great Tour! She took us through the city center and showed us places we wouldnt have known about on our own. It was just our group so it felt very personalized and like talking to a friend. Definitively worth the money

We were on the MSC Cruise Ship and wanted to have our own knowledgeable Genova’s city tour out of what the cruise on aboard offer. We decided to contact TripAdvisor. Making reservation and meeting Antonella our tour guide outside of Genova’s Port Terminal was easy and very convenient. Antonella is more than a nice and knowledgeable person. She is also passionate and lovely lady, she took us around the city and explained history clearly, she also was very patient with our group and most important with my mature parents-in-laws. She made us feel like she was one of us, part of our family group. This tour is highly recommended for those that enjoy and love history and like to be around genuine, lovely and knowledgeable person. Thank you and hope you enjoy and learn as much as we did.
