La Vecchia Nuova Sinagoga, chiamata anche Altneuschul, è la più antica sinagoga attiva d'Europa ed è oggetto sia di importanti storie della comunità ebraica di Praga che di fantastiche leggende. Completato nel 1270 in stile gotico, fu uno dei primi edifici gotici di Praga.
Il Vecchio Cimitero Ebraico è un cimitero ebraico di Praga, uno dei più grandi del suo genere in Europa e uno dei più importanti monumenti storici ebraici di Praga. Ha servito il suo scopo dalla prima metà del XV secolo fino al 1786 ed è pieno di pietre fantastiche e case funerarie di importanti personaggi storici. Tra le 12000 pietre qui, c'è quella che segna la tomba del leggendario rabbino Low di epoca rinascimentale.
Il Museo Ebraico di Praga è uno dei musei più visitati della capitale ceca. La sua collezione di Giudaica è una delle più grandi al mondo, circa 40.000 oggetti, 100.000 libri e un copioso archivio di storie della comunità ebraica ceca e morava, comprese le sinagoghe storiche dell'epoca rinascimentale, barocca e moderna.
Il municipio ebraico di Josefov, a Praga, fu costruito adiacente alla Vecchia Nuova Sinagoga all'angolo tra Maiselova e Červená Ulice nel 1586 in stile rinascimentale sotto il patrocinio del sindaco Mordechai Maisel. Ha acquisito la sua facciata rococò nel XVIII secolo.
La Sinagoga Pinkas è la seconda sinagoga più antica di Praga. Le sue origini sono legate alla famiglia Horowitz, rinomata famiglia ebrea di Praga. Amalka did the best job anyone could imagine a guide doing. And we were very happy they could move our tour (on their own initiative) to 3 PM instead of 2 PM as our train from Dresden arrived 1.30 PM and this way it was much less stressful and more relaxing.

We took a ‘Stories of Jewish Prague’ tour with Nina who is a scholar of Judaic Studies.
