Titicaca è il lago navigabile più alto del mondo, situato a 3856 metri sul livello del mare. Le sue sponde e le sue piccole isole ospitano Aymara e Quechua che provengono da antiche culture che vivevano in questa zona molto prima che gli Inca dominassero. Qui i visitatori possono esplorare villaggi tradizionali in cui lo spagnolo è la seconda lingua e dove ancora esistono miti e credenze antiche. Una delle peculiarità del Lago Titicaca sono le piccole isole galleggianti abitate da una tribù chiamata Uros. In queste piccole isole i visitatori sono accolti e possono persino guidare in una delle famose barche a remi.

Verremo a prendervi con un veicolo privato dal vostro hotel a La Paz. Sarai guidato con una guida professionale a Copacabana, godendo di paesaggi naturali.

Arrivo al grazioso villaggio di Copacabana per uno spuntino locale. Visitiamo e visitiamo il santuario e la Virgen Morena. Avrai la possibilità di incontrare piccoli artigiani regionali e conoscere un po 'di cultura locale.

Quindi ci dirigeremo verso l'Isola del Sol su una barca privata con una guida locale. Cammineremo attraverso la "Grande Scala Inca" e vedremo anche la Fontana Sacra, la cui falda, si dice, darebbe giovinezza e felicità eterna! Dopodiché pranzeremo al ristorante archeologico locale e visiteremo il piccolo mercato artigianale e i luoghi ancestrali per conoscere le usanze che rimangono ancora dagli antenati.

Fantastic private tour! Our guide Nathaniel was incredibly professional and very attentive, as was the driver, Diego, who with his skill behind the wheel had a trip of 10. We had the opportunity to visit the totora museum and acquire high quality craft products. The Copacabana tour is very beautiful and the Isla del Sol is spectacular. To eat we were offered typical regional food that was delicious! The flexibility of the tour allows you to adapt your needs and preferences to visit the places and feel comfortable during the tour. We will certainly repeat with the agency when we return to Bolivia:)
We went with Daniel (guide) and Johnny (driver). They both were very hospitable. The lake is beautiful. We were given indigenous lunch by the lake which was delish! The only drawback is it is a long drive from La Paz (4 hours each way).
If you are a short on time or don't want to make complicated bus and bike plans, this is a good option. This company would get 5 stars if they would buy there own bus. A driver picks you up and you wait at the regular old bus station for about an hour (there are breakfast restaurants in the terminal). Our group was about 1/3 of the bus and the biggest issue was that for 4 long hours going out, I was sitting in a tight seat next to a Bolivian mother with a FOUR year old in her lap! I had no idea which 1/3 of the bus was on my tour. If they don't buy their own bus, it would be nice to have the tour seats all together. The tour and guide were great. You get to see most of what you want to see, albeit very quickly. You get back to the bus station around 10PM in La Paz. Once I knew who was part of the tour, it was easy to strike up conversations.
