Pao gave us an afternoon tour to the Bamboo train and Bat caves. Along the way he took us to sites of interest to explain to us the complex history of Cambodia, which is such an important part of the experience. Pao Is fun and informative and speaks good English. You won't be disappointed!

We had the most amazing day with Pao!! He was so friendly and informative, taking us under his wing for the day and showing us the fab sights of Battambang. It was one of our favourite days we had in Cambodia. He explained the history of the Bamboo train, introduced us to some delicious local fruits, ending the day seeing the bat cave which he gave us lots of information about. He went above and beyond for us, even taking my friend to the hospital as she was feeling unwell, then waiting to make sure she was ok and dropped us back to our hostel. The day was amazing and can’t recommend enough!! Thank you Pao, you’re incredible.

We organised our tour with Pao via WhatsApp off a recommendation from his friend in Siem Reap. Our afternoon with Pao was excellent. He took us around Battambang and stopped to point out parts of the history. His tour hit all the places we wanted to see in our short time in the city. Pao himself is a charismatic local with lots of knowledge and experience to share. It was interesting hearing his perspective on local and global issues. You couldn't have a better tour guide than Pao. Although we only had 24hrs in Battambang we have learnt and seen more about Khmer culture, history and the wonderful Battambang (even Pao's village). I cannot recommend Pao's friendly and informative tours. You have found a gem if you go on a Pao tour. Thank you so much Pao!

Great tour around Battambang with the funny guide Pao and his tuk tuk. He told us a lot about the lives of the locals, stopped at a school and explained to us the signs and plants along the way. I did the morning & afternoon tour. We visited the rice liquor production and tasted fresh spring rolls and sticky rice in a bamboo tube. When I had an accident, he took good care of me and we were able to continue the tour to the Bamboo Train, Wine Tasting, Bat Cave and Killing Cave.

If you want to visit Battambang, don’t hesitate to contact Pao. Our visit with him was really great. We had little time in the late afternoon but we wanted to see the batcave. He suggested that we watch the sunset and then go to the cave. The view for the sunset was incredible, with green rice fields as far as the eye could see. He took the time to explain to us the entire process of harvesting the rice, but also the different trees that we were able to observe on the road. We also learned a lot about bats from him. It is a perfect guide. Pao speaks English perfectly and can also speak French. Thank you again for this visit and for being so sunny.

Great experience with Pao! Absolutely recommended! He is your guy on battambang, much more than a tuk tuk driver, he's also a guide (that will make you discover the city telling you about Cambodian culture and history) and a friend! We had really interesting talks, and we did the all tour: bamboo train, bat cave, temples, rice wine, everything with is happy and funny mood! If you go to Battambang, Pao is definitely the person you're looking for!
