Sophie Lee is an excellent tour guide! She is very kind, friendly, and always had a great attitude. She knows a lot about the history of Shanghai and China, and her English is perfectly fluent. She made the whole experience very enjoyable. I’ll book again with her once I come back with my family. We had lunch in a great local restaurant. Highly recommended! Note: she also will take you amazing photos to never forget this beautiful trip.
Amazing 2 day tour in Shanghai, great service , amazing tour guide ( Penny). The BEST way to discover this amazing city !!
We had a terrific day. Kelly drew our attention to all sorts of details at YuYuan Gardens that we would have completely missed had we been on our own. She then found us some gorgeous local dumplings to sample, and later a brilliant restaurant with very local specialties we hadn't seen before, for lunch. Kelly also took us down back streets and lanes where we could engage with everything Shangai: from upmarket shops to neighbourhoods that gave us a feel for the city's workings. Along the way, we learned lots about local history and culture, and we finished at the Marriage Market, which was fascinating and buzzing. We had a great time and learned a lot about Shanghai and its people.
Kelly organised my walking tour and very short notice and was really helpful! Kuang who was my guide was very friendly, helpful and informative. A great introduction to Shanghai, thanks!!
Kelly provided our family with the ultimate Shanghai tour experience, from beginning to end! Upon arrival, Kelly met us and helped to get us settled into our Air B&B accommodations. She shared her knowledge of Shanghai's history as we walked along the Bund area and visited Yuyuan Gardens. We had some time to walk through different exhibits in the Shanghai Museum and also visited the French Concession. During our time together, Kelly was very genuine and attentive ... and always available to answer any questions we had along the way.
Penny was amazing! She took us to all the good places… historic places, good places to eat, to shop, a lot of very interesting buildings of old and new. My husband and I had an Awesome experience while in Shanghai. Pingping was highly knowledgeable and super efficient. Pingping made our experience in Shanghai all the more memorable. She had great knowledge about the history. She took care of so many other requests that we made from her. Taking us shopping, getting us to try beautiful restaurants. Going to hidden corners of the city and off the trail places that were truly enjoyable. Pingping became more a friend than a guide for us. It is because of her that we cherished every moment in of our stay in Shanghai. Pingping we brought back great memories of You and Shanghai. It was so lovely for You to greet us at the airport with your awesome Smile. Your country took us by suprise and we would love to come back again. You had a great sense of humour and lot of laughter and time just flew.
My wife, adult son and brother-in-law only had one day in Shanghai to take in the experience on our private tour. Kelly and Lily (our tour guide) met us at our hotel on time and off we went. Lily was fantastic - excellent English-speech, extremely knowledgeable about the city, experienced world traveler, great sense of humor. Lily had no problem when we switched around the itinerary on the fly to take advantage of a clear mid-day to go to the top of the Shanghai Tower. A lot of laughs all day and no issues or regrets. I have traveled the world on both personal and business trips and I often take a city tour when I arrive to gain a better understanding of a new town. However out of all the tours that I have taken, the tour I took of Shanghai was not only good but actually the best that I have experienced. The reason for the success of the tour was my guide Penny who truly went above and beyond to make sure that my experience was exceptional. Penny met me promptly at my hotel and proceeded to ask me questions about my interests, the result was a tour that went far beyond any expectation I had. Penny designed a day that visited not only the highlights of Shanghai such as the Jade Buddha and the ancient Yu Gardens but also included less known but truly interesting attractions such as the Museum of Propaganda and the back streets of the "Old" town. Penny's thorough knowledge of the history of Shanghai but also the centuries of Chinese history was truly amazing. Penny's English was perfect and her ability to customize the day based on my interests made my trip. If you are in Shanghai and looking for a private tour, this is a perfect 10 out of 10.
