Very long day. The waterfalls and Mostar are lovely but there's not enough time at either.
Absolutely horrible. Asked if we would be back in time for our cruise departure and he waived his hand at me and drove off!!!! We weren’t rude only simply asked a question! That’s it and now we don’t have anything planned in Dubrovnik.
First canceled for the weather. Second booking tour operator changed time of pick up in the last sentence of reminder with old pick time. Of course we missed the bus. Unacceptable. Totally bad communication. Warning for future bookings.
The tour to Mostar, Pocitelj and Kravice falls was a complete nightmare. Tomi driver/guide was not communicative, nor was he interested in interacting with us. We were told not to interrupt or talk while he held a monotonous incomprehensible monologue. There was no microphone in the vehicle, so the people at the back could not hear him at all. At a roadside fruit stand, we figured out that he was telling the young boy (retail owner) to charge us more. A person from our group was watching the weighing machine, and the price for the locals for the same produce and weight was charged at a lower price. He also did not take into consideration that our group comprised of retirees in our 60s and 70s with different physical capacities. He just marched ahead, to the places of interest, and did not walk along with us. He was most irritated when the slower ones could not keep up. He went on with his information download, with the fitter ones. It was MOST distressful to be shouted at, in front of other tour groups and guides, when one of us "did not do as he commanded " ! This was very unprofessional behavior !!! At the Pocitelj Old City, Tomi gave us 1/2 hour to meet back at the vehicle. He stated that he had no intention to walk the Old city with us. When his other friend Tour Guide asked why so short a time, Tomi told him This Group only needed a Driver not the Tour Guide:( Overall, this private & luxury tour was terrible, with such a disrespectful, untrustworthy, unprofessional and rude guide - Tomi. Not to mention Tomi was 35 minutes late on the pickup. At times, our group of 6 felt scared and threatened that he might just leave us in Bosnia. Even after he dropped us off at our accommodation residence, since he knows exactly where we were staying, we dared not write the review until we had left the country for fear of retaliation. We wrote this feedback to ensure no one else go through this horrible ordeal like my group. Highly NOT recommended tour agency!!!
Our trip to Bosnia, Mostar and Kravica Falls were beautiful. Our tour Tommy explained the history and we learned a lot during the day. The places that were visited were wonderful. Kravica Falls was magnificent. Mostar was beautiful as well and the restaurant that we had lunch was yummy.
The ride by small bus (8 personem) to the Kravica Falls through Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina was very nice. The waterfalls were also beautiful. The driver told a lot of interesting information about the country and the area. The city of Mostar was beautiful to visit. After a delicious lunch at Kaldrma we drove back satisfied.
I waited more than an hour for pick up, nobody came and when I called the operator- he said tour was cancelled. It would be nice if they'd actually let me know ahead so I could sort different plans. Massive let down.
A great way to spend a day if staying in Dubrovnik. You get picked up at the hotel then driven up to Bosnia-Herzegovina. Tommy is so knowledgeable he points out interesting geographical or historical features all through the journey and also expands on historical facts. He also will answer any questions. He will look after you so will find somewhere for a restroom stop and coffee stops. Also showing us local food options like burek. He will also adapt the trip to suit people’s interests. Very much a personal private tour and worth it. Would choose again.
If you are looking for a true local’s guide to Bosnia, this is your tour! Our wonderful guide, Tomislav (Tomi) took us with a small group for a tour of Kravice Falls, a small village called Polticej, and Mostar. Throughout the tour, he explained the history and the local culture. We really appreciated how accommodating he was to ensure the comfort of all passengers. Unlike more ‘commercial’ tours, we liked how this tour allowed us flexibility to explore at our own pace and truly appreciate the sights and culture of Bosnia. We recommend eating a big breakfast before you start as it will be a long time before the lunch break in Mostar. Do not miss out on all the pastry shops Tomi recommends along the way— he took us to some great finds!
It is a great tour but we were disappointed with the guide. He is kind and you can tell he wants to look after you but you can't hear him. Our lovely American lady told him twice but he didn't get the hint. We just couldn't hear him and i am sure he had loads to say as he was talking but no one could hear him The trip was meant to start at 8. It was 9.15 by time we left. He was late to every meeting place too and we were waiting for him. This may be his experience of ensuring people were there but it didn't feel professional and we had to wait He was good with loo stops though. The trip was too long and it could be shorter. We got back at 9.15ish. If pick up was at 8 like it was meant to be and if timings were better you could end up with an evening too but we lost an evening. Make sure you eat in Bosnia and plan for it taking the whole 12 hours and not 9 as advertised Both kravice waterfalls and mostar are well worth visiting.
