Tour per piccoli gruppi di Pamukkale da Izmir

Booked this tour about an hour before reservations closed for June 13, and everything went smoothly. My only initial concern was pickup - the listed pickup points were all about a 30-minute walk from our accommodation in Izmir. Fortunately, I entered a closer location outside the normal pickup area, and the company accommodated the request without issue, which was greatly appreciated. The route includes pickups near Ephesus, so the drive to Pamukkale isn’t the most direct, but it does provide a glimpse of some Ephesus-area sites. We were picked up alone in Izmir and later joined the rest of the group near Ephesus. The tour was conducted in English, though the guide was also fluent in several other languages. Lunch was included and quite good. Before lunch there were stops at a winery and an onyx store - not really our thing, but the free wine tasting was enjoyable. At Pamukkale, we had roughly 2-3 hours to explore. The guide covered the major highlights and then gave us free time at the travertines. Note that entrance fees are not included, but cards are accepted. If you want to visit St. Philip’s Tomb, ask the guide about it while you’re near the theatre - the walk is only about 10 minutes from there versus roughly 20 minutes from where free time begins near the travertines, which can save some backtracking. I’d also skip the audio guide upgrade - it wasn’t particularly useful. Overall, a well-organized tour with a knowledgeable guide who provided great travel recommendations, including tips for visiting Cappadocia.

It was totally amazing experience. Special thanks to the guide for being respectful, funny and knowledgable. We visit jaw-dropping cotton castle with comfortable van. We spent almost 3 and a half hour on the road per way but worth it. Cleopatra's pool was perfect. Absolutely recommended!

A place with a stink of history is beyond our expectation. Free entry with museum card. The area is very expansive Travarten, museums, Ancient theater and Ancient pool that is not too warm, we paid an additional fee to the pool an adult child with our Museum card 100tl. We parked the car at the entrance from the South facade and it made us more sense to bring bread with us, bring tea in the thermal so I don't know the food prices

The trip was relaxing , well planned out , got sufficient time to see the hot springs , museum and to shop too .. The lunch was good 😊 And the guide Osge was very sweet and informative Thanks for this memorable experience

Hello, the experience with that Tour was very bad. for me from Izmir the tour time was more than 12 hours, which I can understand because the distance was very long. What I cannot understand is that we have arrived at the historical site of interest, the reason for which I hired the Tour, around noon, and they have led us to waste more than two hours of time shopping sites that are not of interest to me , which were not included in the Tour program, and for which I did not pay. That meant we had less than three hours to tour hierapolis, pamukale. In addition, the guide did not give us a good explanation about the city, I managed to go through the entire city since I had studied on my own, but the guide never told us about the necropolis, the north gate, rather he seemed interested in us spending the pool time. Terrible experience, I would never recommend it

This was a great day out. Our tour guide Mehmet had good English and very knowledgeable, they picked us on time from the hotel, he made the trip very enjoyable and let us enjoy what we wanted to do. Our driver was Turan, was good natured and stopped in the journey to give us rest. We were also taken to to a textile and leather factory which we enjoyed. The car was almost new and very comfortable. The only thing that was not perfect was the food and it’s location, if this can be improved the trip was first class.

My favorite part of the tour was when the guide “Gül Demir” informed us about Turkey, its people, and its culture. Excellent driver “Kemal” Great team!

History was incredible. Our guide was very good Our young driver was excellent. Good schedule but could have spent a little more time at the pools. It was an excellent day overall Ernie and Diane

The entire trip was well planned and executed - very punctual and generous pick-up/drop-off, a proper amount of time at the sights, and delicious lunch included. Our guide, Umut, was well prepared, helpful, and engaging then whole time.
