This was a great trip, well above my expectations! We had an amazing tour guide Stevie (Wonder), he cared so much about his group and made sure he gave us the best experience and made everything easy for us. Super clean bus, very comfy, accommodations were great (except for Fairview in Killarney - staff was friendly but cleanliness very poor). The planning of the itinerary was perfect, a bit fast-paced but good given the number of places we got to visit. Overall highly recommended!
We had a splendid time on our tour. Our tour guide , Stevie, was very knowledgeable and made our trip of Ireland very memorable. He showed us unique things about Ireland that we would never know if we didn't see it. Since there is a quite a bit of walking on the tour, we realize that was necessary if you wanted to see and explore Ireland the right way. We had awesome weather so that contributed to why we had a wonderful tour also.
Our guide/driver, John, was fantastic! He was always perfectly on time and took us to great places for scenery/photos/food/fun! He was full of great information too! We were a little disappointed that the description made it sound like we would be able to get a taste at the distillery, but found out it was really just a restroom stop when we got there. It would have been nice to know more precise times of our itinerary, but we had a great trip overall. We met great people from all over the world on our tour which made it extra special!
Small group travel with knowledgeable guide Saw many interesting sites Felt safe the entire time Friendly and humourous
A very dissapointing experience...the small minibus is extremelly unconfortable Having no choice but to seat in the last row..which supposedly accomodates 4 adults was the WORST ride I ever experienced ...had to lean forward for all the 10 hour tour trip...since the 4 adults did not fit on that tiny space Furthermore had to carry my small backpack on my legs all the time since it did not fit on the overhead compartment Vents did not blow any air Unfortunatelly also Killian was a very rude tour driver My Ireland 5 day experience was not good
Hi Tony, I'm sorry to hear that your journey was uncomfortable and that you felt there was not enough space on the bus during your tour. We use minibuses because they allow us to reach places that larger vehicles simply can’t access, helping us provide a more unique and immersive experience. However, we appreciate that they do offer less room inside, which may not suit all customers. To help guests make informed decisions before booking, we do outline the types of vehicles used on our tours. Additionally, all of our vehicles do have overhead storage compartments, so I can only apologise if this was not made clear during your trip and that it resulted in you having to keep your backpack on your lap throughout the journey. I'm also very disappointed to hear your comments regarding your driver guide, Killian. This is unusual feedback for him, as he is typically known for his welcoming and engaging approach. If you would be willing to share any further details or specific instances regarding your experience, we would greatly appreciate it, as feedback like this helps us improve our services. Please feel free to contact us at feedback@rabbies.com. Thanks, Jo
The tour was incredible and the tour guide, Stevie, made it a very memorable experience for my friends and me. Stevie went above and beyond every single day to help us explore Ireland’s beauty and culture. Stevie’s humor and storytelling were also super entertaining and appreciated. I will be back!
Easily the best tour I have experienced. The destinations were interesting and incredibly beautiful. Stevie, our guide, was affable and a brilliant storyteller! His storytelling was delivered with humor seamlessly interesting tantamount to Frank McCourt the author of “Angela’s Ashes” and Pulitzer Prize winner. Stevie could be a famous author as well if he put his pen to paper. The group was fun and diverse.
Rabbie’s took the stress out of travel and replaced it with discovery. Every accommodation, route, and stop was handled seamlessly. With just the two of us, the trip felt exclusive, and Michael D. made it exceptional—balancing history, culture, and humor effortlessly. He paid attention to what we loved and adjusted along the way, making the experience feel uniquely ours. This is how travel should be done. Thank you for the chai tea latte fuel stops and learning the Irish rule of thumbs. Super memorable and highly recommended with their smaller bus service as it is more flexible and maneuverable.
Our tour was nothing short of fantastic. I would recommend Rabbies to anyone, but the best part of our tour was our guide, Stevie Daly. He kept us interested and entertained and made every second count. We even had a milestone birthday within our group and he made it special by bringing traditional Irish treats. As far as the tour was concerned, he gave clear and interesting explanations and answered all of our questions. We were all very happy with the tour!
Matthew was our tour driver from Rabbie's. He was great and had loads of information on Irish culture and history and a sense of humor. We got to sit back and relax and enjoy the ride without all the stress. There were a few places that we wouldn't have gone to or be interested in but that is the trade off with a group tour. But still completely worth it. We loved all the nature sights and castles. Just an amazing time and experience for our family. Have a little cash on hand. The sheep demonstration was cash only. The only negative was that we were stuck in the back of the bus for the entire trip. It would have been nice if upfront, the guide would have said every day we are going to rotate in order to give everyone the opportunity to get different views and connect with others. The people in front of us didn't speak English and sometimes the people upfront had conversations with others and the driver that we couldn't hear. Our last day of touring had to be reconfigured due to the fuel protests. That was disappointing but completely understand.
