NOTA BENE: L'area sotterranea della Basilica di San Crisogono è aperta dal lunedì al venerdì solo dalle 16:00 alle 19:00 (sono aperti tutto il giorno il sabato e la domenica). Di conseguenza, i sotterranei non possono essere visitati durante i tour mattutini dal lunedì al venerdì. Lasciati incantare dall'abside realizzata dal Bernini e dai pavimenti geometrici cosmateschi. Scendi sotto la superficie e ritrovati nella Roma del IV secolo. It was a very interesting experience; we learned a lot and it was impressive to see the underground areas, the old house, and the fresco by Cavallini. The tour was very pleasant as it was not crowded, and the guide provided very thorough explanations at each place we visited. Thank you for everything.

We were fortunate to have a private tour. The knowledge of our tour guide was so impressive. We enjoyed learning the history of this area from someone who transported us back in time. She knew so much about all the churches, the artwork, the sculptures, and the history. There is so much to learn, and our guide took her time explaining the details of what we were looking at.

My mom and I throughly enjoyed our two-hour walking tour of Trastevere's Hidden Gems! Although we had booked this as a small-group tour, we ended up with a private tour, so it was an amazing value and completely personalized experience. Our guide, Anestis, was waiting for us at the designated meeting point near the Tiber River, and although we were expecting only a tour of three beautiful and historical churches, he included so much more. He was extremely knowedgeable and taught us a lot about ancient and medieval Roman history even though this was our fourth time to Rome and we'd taken lots of walking tours before. We also got to discover incredibly beautiful streets, lanes, and piazzas in both the more crowded and less crowded sides of Trastevere. Santa Maria in Trastevere, San Crisogono, and Santa Cecilia (with its fascinating underground) were all stunning and captivating in their own different ways, and Anestis was a kind, erudite, and delightful companion. We highly recommend Touriks as a company and Anestis as a guide. Grazie mille!
