Itinerario
Il tour inizia con la visita della capitale maltese, La Valletta, dopo il pick up, dirigiti verso i giardini di Barraca per una vista unica sul Grand Harbour. Tempo per una foto di fronte all'Auberge de Castille, antica sede dei Cavalieri Templari provenienti dalla Castiglia e ora sede del Primo Ministro maltese. Procedere alla Cattedrale di San Giovanni, dove si trovano capolavori del Caravaggio.
Dopo aver visitato La Valletta, visiterai l'area delle Tre Città, così chiamata per le imponenti fortificazioni che hanno protetto le città di Senglea, Vittoriosa e Cospicua nel corso dei secoli, situate sul lato opposto del Grande Porto proprio di fronte a La Valletta. Tour panoramico con sosta ai Giardini Gardjola di Senglea, da dove è possibile ammirare una vista mozzafiato sul grande porto, prima di proseguire per Birgu-Vittoriosa per un breve tour a piedi di questa caratteristica cittadina che conserva ancora l'autentico spirito maltese.
Il tour prosegue verso il caratteristico porto peschereccio di Marsaxlokk, dove dopo una breve passeggiata lungo il mare per ammirare le caratteristiche barche chiamate luzzu, pranzerete in un tipico ristorante di pesce in un ristorante sul porto. Lungo la strada, fermati nel punto panoramico da cui ammirare la famosa Grotta Azzurra di Malta. Tempo libero per scattare alcune foto e proseguire per i vicini templi megalitici
Sosta e visita facoltativa ai templi megalitici di Hagar Qim e Mnejidra, le costruzioni megalitiche più suggestive di Malta e datate prima delle Piramidi in Egitto. Se desideri visitare il tour, la guida organizzerà per accompagnarti e mostrarti questo sito davvero unico. Nel caso in cui non desideri visitare i templi, continueremo alle scogliere di Dingli per uno scatto panoramico.
Successivamente visiteremo la città medievale di Mdina. Mdina è costruita su un altopiano nel centro dell'isola, i vecchi edifici barocchi della città, la Cattedrale e le magnifiche mura del bastione dominano lo skyline rurale. Mdina, una volta capitale di Malta fino alla costruzione della moderna città di La Valletta nel 1566, aveva molti nomi tra cui Melite, Medina (occupazione araba), Città Notabile e Città Vecchia (dopo la costruzione della Valletta). Oggi è anche definita la città silenziosa poiché ispira tranquillità in qualsiasi momento del giorno o della notte. L'unico modo per vivere e godersi davvero questa città è a piedi, esplorare i caratteristici vicoli, le stradine, gli edifici antichi e le magnifiche vedute di vasta portata dalle alte mura del bastione. Tempo libero per un caffè o un tè prima di tornare al tuo hotel o nave da crociera

My wife and I had a recent Italian and Malta holiday and Soleto Travel through Omar arranged the Malta accommodation and private car transport and day trip arrangements. A week in mid Sept of convenience with airport and hotel pick up, day tours with guides to see all the beautiful Malta highlights, a country with such a rich history. Safe driver and informative guides along with excellent accommodation at Hotel Juliani, Spinola Bay. Omar also arranged for a pick up at Pisa airport, visit and lunch in Lucca and car transfer to Florence. Highly recommend Soleto Travel & Omar for excellent and prompt communication and tour arrangement services.

I just wanted to thank my amazing tour guide (Charmaine) and driver (Johnathan) for showing me around the beautiful islands of Malta. The two-day tour experience Charmaine and John provided was OUTSTANDING and I cannot speak highly enough of them both. Charmaine was extremely knowledgeable, kind and attentive. She worked hard to tailor the information and service she provided to my interests. Johnathan was professional, reliable and his vehicle was clean and comfortable. Malta is a very special place to visit and by the end of the two days I felt I had some lovely memories to take away and had made some new friends. Our tour guide and driver were INCREDIBLE! She was so knowledgeable and due to her being a local, she was able to take us to places that were less traveled. This allowed us to stand or sit and take in the sights for as long as we wanted to. She was very thoughtful and took ample pictures of us. Our driver had wet wipes in the car. TIP: carry tissue for the toilets and hand sanitizer as often there is no toilet paper or soap in bathrooms. We had two additional stops that weren’t on the itinerary but they were serene and places the tour guide and driver frequent in their personal time. We got to overlook the Blue Lagoom vs. being in the crowds and pulled over to the side of the road for a panoramic view of Mdina! WORTH EVERY PENNY! Please tip your tour guide and driver.
We arranged two full-day private sightseeing tours with Soleto, one in advance of arriving in Malta and the other after we arrived. They were easy to work with via email and WhatsApp. We were impressed with the knowledgeable and personable guides and drivers and the cleanliness and comfort of their vehicles. At the end of each day we felt like we'd had a rich Malta experience and had made new friends.
Our tour of Valletta and pre-history sites was amazing. Our guide, Julia, has exceptional knowledge of the history of Malta. Alex our driver did a great job navigating. We enjoyed a delicious lunch too!
We couldn't have asked for more on this incredible adventure through Maltese history which Dennis brought to life so vividly. He was a responsive tour guide, answering our off the cuff questions with friendly ease. And our driver was terrific. This company went out of their way to accommodate our requests, and were very good at communication.
Guide Dennis and driver Jonathan were excellent! Dennis was so knowledgeable, interesting and fun. It was raining (rare on Malta), so we had to improvise and make the best of it. Dennis was cheerful and kept us dry by creatively changing up the tour. He had the right balance of being with us and giving us privacy. Lunch was excellent at a “local flavor” place filled with locals. We learned a lot and had a great day! Highly recommend!
My husband it a history buff and loved the background and stories that Dennis (our guide) provided as he led us through this magnificent city! I did not know much about Malta before this tour and I absolutely fell in love with the architecture and history of this area. If you want a thorough comprehensive tour Dennis is your man!
