L'Acropoli è il sito antico più famoso di Atene e un simbolo della Grecia classica. In cima si erge il Partenone, tempio dedicato alla dea Atena.
Il Panathenaic Stadium è uno degli impianti sportivi più storici del mondo. Costruito interamente in marmo, ospitò i primi Giochi Olimpici moderni nel 1896. Faremo una breve sosta allo stadio Panathenaic – giusto il tempo di ammirare questo sito storico, scattare foto fantastiche e goderci la vista dell'unico stadio al mondo interamente in marmo. È un luogo speciale dove la Fiamma Olimpica inizia il suo viaggio verso i Giochi.
A Piazza Syntagma ad Atene, si può assistere al cambio cerimoniale delle guardie di fronte al Parlamento Ellenico. Le guardie, conosciute come ‘Evzones’, sono vestite con uniformi tradizionali ed eseguono una marcia lenta e precisa. Questa cerimonia simbolica, che si svolge ogni ora, rappresenta il rispetto del Paese per la sua storia e la tutela della democrazia.
La collina di Licabetto offre una delle migliori viste panoramiche di Atene. È possibile catturare splendide fotografie della città, tra cui l'Acropoli, Piazza Syntagma e il Mar Egeo in lontananza. È un luogo perfetto per foto indimenticabili, soprattutto al tramonto.
I Propilei sono un imponente edificio centrale dell'Università Nazionale e Capodistria di Atene e fanno parte della storica Trilogia ateniese, insieme alla Biblioteca e all'Accademia di Atene. Costruiti nel XIX secolo in stile neoclassico, sono stati progettati dall'architetto Danese Christian Hansen, a simboleggiare la rinascita dell'istruzione nel nuovo stato greco.
Plaka è uno dei quartieri più affascinanti di Atene. Situato ai piedi dell'Acropoli, le sue stradine sono piene di taverne tradizionali, caffè accoglienti e negozi colorati. È il luogo perfetto per passeggiare e immergersi nella ricca storia e nell'atmosfera vibrante della città.

These guys were fantastic. We happened to be in Athens during the middle of a Taxi Strike! Go figure. But Carlos, who owns the company, send his wonderful driver to pick us up at 4:30 AM and take us to the airport. We were worried because if they didn't show up, we would have been in big trouble. But NOTHING to worry about. Punctual, reliable, and professional. Hire these guys!!!!

This was the easiest, best way to not only get back and forth from the airport, which is far from central Athens. We also used them for a private day tour in Athens. They took care of everything and made it seamless for us. I cannot say enough good things. The drivers are professional, cars are nice and clean, and the communication with the company is superior. We are going back later this year, we will be using them again.
