This was a great experience. We were lucky to have Astrid all to ourselves and she was very knowledgeable. It wasn’t too difficult to get to grips with the kayaking and the lower river was very peaceful. Would recommend

We had a great tour from start to finish. Our guide Jimmy was excellent. He was a true Floridian and was a real ambassador for conservation. He was very knowledgeable in wildlife, birds and the forest. He kept an easy pace in the paddle and we could hear him extremely well as he pointed out interesting things we came upon. There was plenty of wildlife and birds to see during the whole paddle. I would highly recommend this tour if you just want to see the beautiful backlot view of Florida.

We went for the small group Wekiva river kayaking. Very chill and quiet tour. We've seen variety of birds, some tortoises and a few alligators, learnt about local flora and fauna - great experience :) Jimi was a great guide, we definitely recommend this tour!

We had a tour with Jimi today that was fantastic! We are total novices and he was so patient with each of us and informative in teaching us all each step and then showing us different wildlife and the flowers and vegetation the information that we received showed his passion for what he does. We were totally impressed and loved the experience and would definitely recommend 100%

If you are looking for a fun kayak adventure during your trip to central Florida this is it! Less than an hour from Disney parks lies unbelievable secluded natural beauty and abundant wildlife sightings! My husband and I booked the Wekiva river tour with Astrid at Venture Outdoors and it was incredible!! We saw alligators, and every kind of fish, bird, and tree you can imagine. Astrid was so fun, knowledgeable, and helpful! I would give this tour 100 stars if I could!!
