This was an excellent tour. Katie, our tour guide was wonderful. She took us to several of the historic spots in the area and gave us tons of information about each stop. We were not rushed as she wanted us to get the most from our tour. If you get Katie as your guide you will have a wonderful and blessed day. Would highly recommend the Warrenton/Fort Stevens tour/Lewis and Clark tour.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I’m so glad you enjoyed your Tour of Warrenton and Fort Stevens with Onward Adventures. Warrenton and Fort Stevens are full of incredible history, from the Peter Iredale Shipwreck and the Columbia River to the black sand and magnetite along the coast. I love helping guests slow down, explore these places, and understand why this area is so special. I also appreciate you mentioning the Lewis and Clark portion of the day. When we visit Fort Clatsop, the excellent staff and interpreters there provide their own historical tours and programs, and I’m always grateful that my guests get to experience their knowledge firsthand. Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. Reviews like yours help other travelers find Onward Adventures in Astoria, Oregon, and discover a personal way to explore Warrenton, Fort Stevens, and the North Oregon Coast. Katie Onward Adventures
First we would like to thank Katie and Bill for the nice tour that included a visit to Ft. Clatsop, a beach, and several other sites that we really enjoyed seeing. It was great to visit the area where Lewis and Clark stayed. We also enjoyed the salmon and crackers at one our stops. We even got the recipe! Overall, the tour was educational and fun.
Thank you again for choosing Onward Adventures and taking the time to leave this review. We hope our paths cross again the next time you're visiting the Oregon Coast. Safe travels, Katie & Bill Onward Adventures "Tour Your Curiosity"
I loved this day with Katie, who is friendly and relaxed. The forest walk was calming. The ranger talk was informative.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the Tour of Warrenton. This small town of only 7,000 people is home to two incredible state parks we explored together — Fort Stevens State Park and Fort Clatsop. Along the way we learned about Native history, World Wars, shipwrecks, black sand beaches, and even spotted elk and bald eagles. This has honestly become one of my favorite tours to guide because it showcases so many sides of the Oregon North Coast in just one experience. Thank you for supporting a small local business like Onward Adventures. Your support truly means a lot. - Katie

Thanks for the review, Warrenton is my favorite, but when you get lucky with just a few people that are on tour, it is nice to at least bring you to the Astoria Column in Astoria. You two were wonderful. Thank you! Katie
Katie was great! A native of the area, you could tell she really loves this place, and is proud of the history here. We really enjoyed seeing the shipwreck and the ocean, as well as learning about Lewis and Clark and walking in the beautiful forest. She took us to some places that we weren’t even listed, and gave us some local recommendations of places to go when we were done!

Discovering Warrenton and Astoria, Oregon, with Onward Adventures was a highlight of our trip! We had a fantastic time! Our tour guide, Katie Earl (a native of Astoria), was exceptional and provided us with a deep understanding of the area's rich history and nature. She showed us hidden gems we would have otherwise missed. We visited iconic landmarks like the Astoria Column, the wreck of Peter Iredale, historic homes, experienced the scenic coastline, and saw up close the spawning salmon at Young River and wild elk in Hammond. Katie went above and beyond to make our tour memorable and personalized, like providing us with local souvenirs and restaurant recommendations.
