We had the best experience with Mark our tour guide. He was very informative before our tour even began. He let us know the best way to get to the venue because google maps would not work. He let us know about changes to our schedule due to winds and tide, so we were well prepared when we got there. The tour itself was amazing, we had a leisurely paddle thru the mangroves, while Mark explained the different species and how they adapted to their environment. Once we were out into the open water we saw dolphins, turtles, all kinds of birds, Mark even found some interesting sea creatures while we were at the sand bars. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Touring with Mark was the best introduction to the all encompassing wildlife that Florida has to offer - we saw several species of crabs, pufferfish, stingrays, dolphins, birds, turtles and Mark taught us all about the local ecology and answered every question we had AND was our own personal photographer. The environment was serene and heavenly yet exciting and we would highly recommend to any people interested in an outdoors adventure.

I went out on the 8-hour kayak trip. We went a long way, 10.85 miles, and we saw a lot. Mark is a great guide. Well recommended.

THIS WAS AMAZING!! We came to Florida for two weeks of Disney parks, beaches and fun, and this was hands-down the BEST thing we did in the whole two weeks! My daughter is 14 and loves marine biology, and Mark and Fabia let her nerd out for 8 solid hours. They did not act tired of the constant stream of science questions, and they taught us so much about the flora, fauna and environment of the region. The equipment was high quality, and the experience and expertise of our guides showed. We saw an incredible array of wildlife …So many kinds of fish, crabs, spiders, birds… Not to mention rays, sea turtles and even manatee! I wish there were more stars…If I could give “bonus stars” I would! This was worth every penny. Do it!!!

This is 5 star only because I can't go higher. Mark & Fabia are the only way to go if you are interested in a mangrove kayak tour. They have found the perfect balance of education, paddling, and breaks to explore on your own. If you like to nerd out, Mark & Fabia are able to keep up with you. If you are quieter, that's not a problem either. Our day couldn't have been more amazing. Don't be afraid of taking a longer tour. I'm in my 60's overweight and out of shape, but with no other significant health issues. A teen in our group picked the 8-hour tour and I was, "Well, I'll do the best I can." No problem at all! The currents and wind were generally (but not always) favorable. We finished the 8-hours feeling like, "I did some good work today, but I didn't over do it." Go! Engage! And may the tides ever be in your favor.

I chose the 8-hour trip because we were on vacation here for only three weeks, and I wanted to see as much as possible. If you don't mind being out in the sun all day, and doing a lot of paddling, then it's a good trip to take. The last few hours are easy as Mark puts the electric motors on, and you glide home. There's a lot to see, but no guarantee that you'll see anything. Lunch (not included) is at a shack nr. Ft. Pierce. Well recommended

Our 8-hour tour is the perfect way to make the most of your time and it offers an adventure for those who love a full day on the water. We have designed our longer tours to be half paddling and half motorized which allows guests to both explore and relax while taking in the beauty of the aquatic preserve, estuary and inlet. I experienced the true meaning of paradise on this easy-paced kayaking adventure. The sun reflection on the water with the slick calm surface as a mirror along stretches of mangrove forests was spectacular. Kayaking the mangrove tunnels under striking tree canopies was magical and all smiles. I enjoyed the transition of landscapes to open bays, river, sandbar, beach and inlet. Little Jim Bait & Tackle for lunch had a welcoming atmosphere and food was delicious. Being a sharp-eyed person, Mark was good at noticing and observing things like the agitated waters and knowing instantly what aquatic animal was going to pop its head out of the water and pointing them to me. He was knowledgeable about the mangrove species, edible leaves, birds, aquatic animals, water tides, history of Fort Pierce, and more. I have learned more about the mangrove forests and its habitat. Mark is really an outdoors enthusiast. The top-rated kayak and its equipment, level of comfort and stability, afforded me the opportunity to even stand up and paddle board once in a while. On my return to the launch location, I was floating the waters like a lazy river as the kayak propulsion motor thrust forward and I only had to manoeuvre the kayak with my paddle. It gave me time again to take in the picturesque and pristine surroundings, soak up the beauty around me. I appreciated the feeling of not being rushed from departure to returning points.
