Escursione al Parco Nazionale Con la nostra guida naturalista bilingue, camminerai per 3,5 km (2 miglia) nel percorso circolare di Las Pailas attraverso la foresta tropicale per godere delle migliori viste del vulcano, della natura incredibile, dell'attività vulcanica e della fauna selvatica. Il parco ospita più di 300 specie di uccelli e molti altri animali, come armadilli, baie, iguane, coati e scimmie dalla faccia bianca, scimmie urlatrici, scimmie ragno, tucani, tacchini e molto altro. Ti fermerai per vedere l'attività vulcanica, inclusi vasi di fango ribollente, fumarole e un mini cratere. Il settore di Las Pailas mostra in modo spettacolare la potenza del vulcano Rincon de la Vieja, il vulcano più attivo e più grande di Guanacaste, in Costa Rica. Vapore e zolfo provengono dalle fumarole naturali del terreno giallo e arrugginito. Assisti a secchi di argilla in varie tonalità di marrone con acqua vulcanica bollente, bolle di fango vulcanico grigio fine ed esplosioni in grandi secchi. Questo vulcano è come nessun altro in Costa Rica.
Poi goditi una passeggiata alla Cascata di Oropendola e fai una nuotata nella sua straordinaria piscina blu. Dopodiché, preparati a prendere parte alle sorgenti termali e ai rilassanti bagni di fango vulcanico. Il pacchetto include anche un delizioso pranzo a buffet presso il ristorante Hacienda Guachipelin.
Sorgenti termali e bagno di fango vulcanico. Dopo pranzo verrai accompagnato alle sorgenti termali. Circondate dalla foresta tropicale secca, le sorgenti termali del Río Negro (fiume Nero) dispongono di dieci piscine con acque termali riscaldate naturalmente dal vulcano Rincón de la Vieja. Le acque minerali rilassanti sono cristalline e tutte naturali. Rilassati e goditi il relax nelle nostre acque curative. Puoi anche provare il nostro "bagno" di fango vulcanico, dove spalmi il fango di argilla vulcanica sul tuo corpo!

Our driver Mr Grievin was very patient with our schedule there. He ensured our ride to and from there was comfy. We had a great time, the waterfalls and hot springs were amazing.

Faro Travel is great to work with and glad we booked them for this. Our driver w as timely, friendly and courteous. The hike is a bit longer than we expected (our watches said closer to 3 miles) with quite a bit of ups and downs so bring plenty of water. The guide was great making sure everyone got rest when needed. The hot springs are a great way to relax and unwind after the hike.
If you want to spend four hours in a junker taxi with no suspension in rush hour traffic, just to get to the tour starting point and back take this trip. In addition there were so many people on the tour you couldn't hear the guide talking if you wanted to. The tour operator could have cared less about the circumstances.
This was a must do ! We had such an awesome experience! The tour through the rain forest was incredible the waterfalls were breathtaking just being down in the rocks and the cold water was something I’ll never forget and the hot springs with the mud bath was truly amazing can’t believe how beautiful this whole experience was! From start to finish this was an excellent adventure and experience. We were picked up on time from our hotel -Riu Palace in Guanacaste. The car was clean and comfortable for the 1.15 min drive to the National Park. When we arrived at the check in location at the Hacienda Hotel we were greeted with warm smiles and information about our Tour. After a short while of re-hydrating and sun screening, we met our amazing guide SANTOS who took us via shuttle to the entrance of where we started our hike. He explained to us (me and my husband and teenage sons) that we would walk through and he would explain the wildlife, trees, fruits, etc. It was a breathtaking walk with so many incredible stops and photo ops along the way. SANTOS was so patient with our questions, and took the time to explain what we were seeing. The terrain was very clear (path) but it was uphill most of the way. Our group was able to keep up and manage, but good to know depending on activity level. SANTOS then took us to the Waterfall where we enjoyed a dreamlike plunge in the stone covered pool. The water felt so refreshing and invigorating after the hike. After our waterfall adventure, SANTOS departed to meet another group. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We then met back with our driver who accompanied us for an authentic hot lunch, and then to the HOT SPrings and Mud. We spent about an hour and a half relaxing in the pools and cooling off in the cooler river. What an amazing adventure full of memories that will last a lifetime! I wish i could give more than 5 stars!

Amazing experience. Starts with. A 2 hr 2 mile hike. (Intermediate level. Lots of elevation change. We saw tons of monkeys and birds. Different eco systems. Very cool. The. A breathtaking waterfall. Lunch Hot springs and mud bath. The wife and I loved it.

The guide we had on the nature hike and waterfall was excellent. We saw mud and hot springs around the volcano and got to swim in a secluded waterfall. Water was very cold but very therapeutic. We had a lunch buffet at the restaurant in the park and then went to the hot spring pools for more therapy. Wonderful Day!

Everything was amazing! This company is top notch. The nature guide was extremely knowledgeable. We were able to see so many interesting plants and animals. Johnny was a fantastic tour guide for our hike pointing out different animals and plants. They provide a towel for swimming in the waterfall and hot springs so no need to pick your own. Waterfall water was about 68 degrees Fahrenheit so very cold but good way to cool off from the hike.
