WOOLTON PICTURE HOUSE : Questa bella casa in stile Art Déco aprì per la prima volta nel 1927 e sarebbe stato il cinema locale per Paul & John per vedere gli ultimi film.
SALA DELLA CHIESA DI SAN PIETRO, CHIESA E CIMITERO: La chiesa di San Pietro, dove John Lennon era un chierichetto, la sala della chiesa e il cimitero sono un luogo speciale che tutti i fan dei Beatles possono vedere e visitare. Vedrai la sala della chiesa dove Giovanni e Paolo si incontrarono per la prima volta e potresti anche avere la possibilità di entrare nella sala e fermarti nel punto in cui furono presentati per la prima volta. La tua guida ti mostrerà il vicino cimitero, indicando diverse lapidi che si dice abbiano influenzato le canzoni dei Beatles, tra cui la famosa Eleanor Rigby. CASA D'INFANZIA DI JOHN LENNON : Il tour si fermerà fuori Mendips, 251 Menlove Avenue, la casa dove John Lennon visse lì con la sua casa-orgogliosa zia Mimi, negli anni '50, è un'esperienza memorabile per tutti i fan dei Beatles. La casa è ora una proprietà del National Trust e non fa parte di questo tour - questo può essere organizzato solo direttamente con il National Trust.
DAIRY COTTAGE: Risalente al 1830 e un tempo un caseificio che riforniva il villaggio questo grazioso cottage era una volta una casa in cui John Lennon viveva da bambino.
WOOLTON LIBRARY & BATHS : Tornando verso il centro del paese vedrete alcuni grandi esempi di edifici e case vittoriani e georgiani, tra cui la vecchia biblioteca del villaggio e le terme che un tempo erano luoghi di ritrovo dell'infanzia di John Lennon.
WOOLTON VILLAGE CLUB : Mentre ti avvicini alla fine del tuo tour visiterai il Village Club di Woolton dove i Quarrymen suonarono molti anni fa ed è ancora il cuore culturale di questo vivace villaggio.

Tracey our tour guide was brilliant. Friendly knowledge and informative. The tour was really interesting for all of us. We all said how much we enjoyed it. We spent a very enjoyable few days in Liverpool visiting many of the attractions connected with The Beatles. The Woolton Walking Tour was the highlight of our trip. This walking tour is a treat for anyone interested in the back story of the early days of The Beatles, particularly of John and Paul’s teenage years.. Our guide, Tracey, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we got a very good sense of what Woolton and the surrounding area was like in the late 1950’s, lots of anecdotes and stories that we had never heard before. We couldn’t recommend it more highly, outstanding!

I had a fantastic time on the very first Woolton Beatles Tour, visiting the places that shaped the band’s early story. From St Peter’s Church, where John and Paul first met, to Strawberry Field, Mendips and more, it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the Beatles, which really brought everything to life. We were even treated to a few tunes on the ukulele, which really brightened an otherwise grey January morning. I would highly recommend this tour to any Beatles fan who wants to stand in the very places where it all began.
