Tour Mitologico Privato dell'Acropoli

Great private Acropolis tour, timed at a reasonable Pace to allow for pictures and history and mythology, Christina was great!

My wife and I spent a wonderful 2 hours being shown around the Acropolis by our knowledgeable guide Rania. Rania was excellent, personable and gave us a great tour, explaining the history and the myths behind the Acropolis. Very professional and excellent service from booking to meet up to the tour itself. Highly recommend Alternative Athens and Rania.

Sophia was a fantastic guide for our family party of five. She was immensely knowledgeable (an archeologist), passionate about Greek history and culture, warm, and fun. Her approach was to present a holistic view of Athenian and mythological history, not just a chronological recitation of facts.

I had the opportunity to call on Alternative Athens on a private tour of the acropolis with my children. Nathalie, our guide, was very interesting and captivated the children. Unfortunately, there was a quid pro quo about the duration of the activity and some elements that were not realized, but when I told the Alternative Athens team they immediately acknowledged their mistake and offered not only a commercial discount, but to offer us another guided tour in compensation. The error being human, I can only thank them (and Nathalie) for their professionalism and highly recommend.

Just perfect. Shaw it all-. learned so much, felt like we were hanging out with a friend who knew a ton. I’m supposed to make.this one hundred words - I did.

Our tour guide Maria was very knowledgeable about history and mythology (working as an archaeologist). We had a very interactive 2 hour tour for our family of four. I’m certain had they done a larger tour they wouldn’t have learned much, so we are very pleased we did this. She knew all the shady spots and we were able to bypass lines and large groups which appeased the jet lagged, overheated kiddos. Highly recommend if you can budget for it.
