Great tour! We saw Orcas, and Humpbacks, and more. It was an amazing experience and absolutely worth the money. Many thanks to Paul our skipper for this fantastic experience!
We did the morning whale watching tour with Jenn and it was amazing! She went out of her way to extend our tour by 15 minutes so we could see Orcas in addition to all the other amazing wildlife (eagles, seals, humpback whales etc). Would highly recommend this tour!
Oh my gosh, such fun! Our captain, Jen, took us on the most amazing tour where we saw humpback whales, orcas, bald eagles, seals, and sea otters. Jen made it so fun and shared such interesting information about all of the wildlife we encountered on our outing. The zodiac boat also made it so much fun! This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Vancouver Island!
Fantastic tour in beautiful nature and with extremely professional guide. Jenn took us on an exciting whaling safari, where we saw squirrels, sea lions, seals, eagles, etc. Jenn shared his great knowledge about the animals and we felt completely safe on the trip.
We took out trip from Comox. Staff were really great. Safety video was clear and understandable. The boat was clean and safe. The run out was great. We saw humpbacks and killer whales. Captain Chris was first class. Talked us through what to expect and found us whales. This is a first class tour.
Our tour guide was Jason, he was excellent, so kind and friendly. As soon as we arrived at the base, all the staff were great. Jason did an amazing job at finding us animals to see. We saw, dolphin, eagles, a bear and humpback whales. Truly a memory of a lifetime. Jason and the team clearly take your safety seriously and also are keen to keep the animals safe too. Jason grew up around here, so has extensive knowledge and friends too. I loved that the boat was small, so about 10 people, it had a loo, snacks, drinks and a great lunch. I would definitely recommend going whale watching with these guys.
We went on a 4 hour whale expedition with Jenn, a marine biologist with over 16 years of expertise. An experience that we will never forget in or whole lives. After we already had seen seals, eagles, a harbour porpoise and sea lions, Jenn pointed us at some blows in the distance. We approached the blows and noticed that there were 3 humpback whales being social with each other. We keept a big distance because Jenn did not want to influence their behaviour and all of a sudden one of the whales approached us and started to play around our boat for 45 (!) minutes. A boat of 7 meters with 7 people with a whale of 12m, figure that! She pushed us a little forward with her tail and swam below us. We could not leave because the motor would affect her behaviour, and that is something we don’t want, explained Jenn. So we were kind of stuck, but not scared at all. It was the best experience we had ever had. Thank you Jenn for this experience, your big knowledge and respect for nature! I would recommend this tour to everyone, even if you spot the whales from a distance, it is a great experience and makes you really feel really small just a part of nature for a moment.
We had an amazing whale watching tour with captain Jenn on Sept 10. Jenn is a very knowledgeable captain who explained us everything about the whales, seals, sealions etc. During the tour we saw about 13 humpback whales playing around. One of them just showed up, out of nowhere, in front of our zodiac… breath taking. Sun bathing sea lions, playing seals, eagles and the very shy harbor porpoise….they were all there. What a lovely morning it was Chris and Guy
We are happy to have chosen this tour. Paul, the capitain, was very knowlegeable and willing to share is own background. So we had such a great time out there. He made his best to show us as much wildlife as he could, piloted safely and was very nice. We strongly recommend it and would definitely chose the full day tour next time. We had a fantastic tour, we saw so much wildlife, so many whales breaching and playing, moms and calfs, adults, sea lions and seals. It was unbelievable. Our guide was the most amazing woman and helpful and educational. We loved it. This is my second time and I would definitely go again.
