Tour mattutino di Daintree con crociera sul fiume da Port Douglas

Questo è un ottimo tour per coloro che vogliono trascorrere solo mezza giornata o hanno poco tempo. Visitiamo due aree in questo viaggio, Daintree River e Mossman Gorge. Iniziamo con un viaggio lungo la Captain Cook Highway, sulla strada per il fiume Daintree, e condividiamo un po' di storia lungo il percorso. Qui, ci imbarcheremo per una crociera lungo il fiume Daintree, alla ricerca della fauna locale, tra cui il coccodrillo di estuario, serpenti, uccelli, rane e altro ancora. Dopo la Wildlife Cruise, ci godiamo il tè mattutino con Lamington e tè/caffè. Una volta nel Mossman Gorge National Park, conduciamo una passeggiata interpretativa lungo una passerella sopraelevata. A seconda del tempo, possiamo fare un tuffo nel limpido ruscello della foresta pluviale, mentre siamo circondati dalla bellissima e curativa foresta pluviale di Mossman Gorge. Che modo memorabile di trascorrere la mattinata!

Salirai a bordo di una crociera lungo il fiume Daintree, alla ricerca di tutti i tipi di creature, inclusi il coccodrillo di estuario, serpenti, uccelli, rane e altro ancora.
Arriviamo a Mossman Gorge, che è la parte meridionale della foresta pluviale di Daintree. La tua guida ti accompagnerà a fare una passeggiata e condividerà la sua conoscenza della flora e della fauna locali e risponderà a qualsiasi domanda tu possa avere. Questa è una facile passeggiata di andata e ritorno di 500 m per lo più lungo le passerelle. Puoi goderti una nuotata nel limpido ruscello della foresta pluviale, che può essere piuttosto rinfrescante, mentre sei circondato dalla bellissima e curativa foresta pluviale di Mossman Gorge. I prelievi iniziano nel CBD di Port Douglas dalle 7:25. Si prega di essere pronti al di fuori del vostro Alloggio a quest'ora. A seconda del nostro programma, potremmo arrivare pochi minuti dopo alla tua posizione. Importante: non offriamo ritiri da Cairns.

Well organised, on time, very informative and entertaining the locals that run the tours are very passionate and knowledgeable as well as friendly and caring highly recommend this tour to anyone keen to learn about our beautiful country !
Great tour all around. Our driver Peer was very knowledgeable and thorough. The river tour was all about finding crocodiles then we had coffee and tea. The final part was the national park and a lovely swim near waterfalls.
Picked up at hotel. James was great. Kept us on schedule and provided good information about plants, geology, wildlife. Our Croc experience was exceptional, Chris was knowledgeable and hilarious. Saw juveniles and “Scar Face” up close and personal. He also kept an eye on the weather keeping us out of an incoming squall. This was a 1/2 day trip which, thanks to James and Chris was a wonderful experience of the Daintree.

We had an absolutely fantastic day on the Daintree and Mosman Gorge tour from Port Douglas. Our tour guide was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable and engaging throughout the entire trip. He taught us so much about the geology and history of the rainforest, crocodiles, Aboriginal culture and the local wildlife. The crocodile river cruise was unforgettable we saw 8 crocodiles ranging from tiny 3-month-old babies to enormous adults over 80 years old. Seeing Scar, who was over 5 metres long, was definitely a highlight! What really made the tour special was the humour and personality of the guides. They brought the whole experience to life with their wit, storytelling and amazing sense of humour while still being informative and professional. The scenery was breathtaking and the whole day was organised brilliantly. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Port Douglas.
