Verremo a prendervi al vostro hotel nel centro di Londra e vi condurremo attraverso Londra e nella campagna dell'Oxfordshire. Le nostre prime tappe sono nell'Oxfordshire. Visitiamo i villaggi che sono diventati il villaggio di Downton. Qui possiamo avere fotografie fuori dalla casa di Matthew Crawley, dall'ospedale e dai due pub del villaggio. Ci sono troppe altre località da elencare qui, inoltre non desideriamo rovinarti tutte le sorprese. Attraversa l'ingresso dell'ospedale. Visita la chiesa dove sono stati girati tutti i matrimoni e i funerali.. A piedi dall'ufficio postale. Inoltre molto altro....
Visitiamo altri villaggi nella zona di Cotswolds che sono un segreto per sorprenderti che sono presenti nella serie. Lasciandoci alle spalle i villaggi, iniziamo a dirigerci verso il castello di Highclere. Questo viaggio dura circa 50 minuti poiché Highclere è a 40 miglia dal nostro ultimo villaggio di Cotswold. Our driver / tour guide Greg was extremely knowledgeable of Downton Abbey and each of the actual filming locations. He was professional, personable and friendly. Although the torrential rains put a damper on the day, we felt Greg provided us with a great experience. We recommend Greg without reservation.
This was the trip of a life time. I have never been more pleased with the tour guide Andrew. He made the entire trip across the pond so very memorable. Thank you Andrew. Terri and I also appreciate your history knowledge. HighClere castle tour was super nice and very well organized. The add on tea was very-very nice and we were treated to a tasty selection, Mrs Patmore and Daisy would have certainly approved.
Our tour guide was Greg .. he was “ over the top great” … very knowledgeable and made the entire day and experience well worth it …He showed us everything he could about Downton Abbey ..had stories to tell us …was a great driver. I highly recommend going on this tour.!

This was a great way to get to Highclere Castle from London and see the villages where Downton was filmed. Even if you aren't a Downton fan (one of our group had never watched) you will enjoy the castle and historic villages. Our guide was well prepared and very knowledgeable about the host of the area. We always felt safe and would recommend this tour to our friends.
What an amazing and memorable day! Andrew was a fantastic tour guide! He even played the Downton theme song as we pulled into the property. He knew so much about the Cotwolds and took great pictures of us.
We were lucky enough to have Driver/Guide Steven for the entire day while visiting the Cotswolds and Castle. It was absolutely brilliant. He was a wealth of information and made the day truly special. We visited many of the sites that were used in the filming and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. A pub lunch with Steven was a must and was a highlight. He was a warm and cheerful guide. If you have a chance to have this driver you will be very lucky. Rain (it poured) or shine it was well worth the cost of this full day trip. Best tour we had during our week in London
Greg, our tour guide was very personable and knowledgeable. He also had media samples of the places we were visiting relating to Downton Abbey.
Loved it! Was a bucket list item and enjoyed every minute. Our guide was excellent! We had lunch at the tea room on the grounds and the food was great!
GREG IS AMAZING! My mom is a massive DA fan and Greg made sure she saw all the filming sights and we even lucked out and met a local woman whose home was used for filming…what a rare and special treat! My mom was in the hunt for a teacup for her collection and Greg made sure she had a chance to shop at a few antique places to find the perfect one! He was informative and kind and made our day so special!
