This company is great, and based on the reviews I'm sure the dogsledding tour would be amazing. I'm writing just to reiterate the need to be flexible with your timing and understand that your tour might not happen. We made the mistake of partially planning our trip around this tour. It was the activity our kids were looking forward to the most. However, despite showing up for 3 separate tour times over 2 separate days, we were unable to go dogsledding. It's not even necessarily a weather thing. Two of our three attempts were in great weather (sunny, low-wind, etc.), but I guess the glacier they land on is susceptible to low clouds blocking visibility. I realize they can't control the clouds, so we're not upset about them making a safety-related decision not to fly. But I do think it's helpful if future customers build this into their expectations. My only small complaint about the company is that they wait until the very last minute to cancel flights. I appreciate them making every effort to make a tour happen, but we did end up wasting a fair amount of time going back and forth to the airport, getting suited up, etc. However, they were very friendly and apologetic about it.
We has the BEST time on our helicopter trip with Alpine Air Alaska. We enjoyed going glacier dog sledding for the first time and all of the guides and ground/flight crew were amazing. Highly recommend!!!
Our dog sledding experience was the best! We took a helicopter to the Punch Bowl Glacier, loaded on to a dog sled, and took off! We were able to pet/snuggle with the dogs (which is not always possible) and play with puppies. The scenery was spectacular. Alpine Air is a top notch operator from start to finish.
This is an exceptional adventure for everyone the people were amazing. The mushers were very knowledgeable.

Hello. Only reason I rate this low is because the experience was cancelled due to bad weather. We were unable to rebook a new date since we are on vacation and leaving area otherwise we were very excited to experience it.

What a wonderful experience from start to finish!! Guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Dogs were amazing. And the puppies were beyond adorable. I had a hard time keeping my kids from smuggling puppies out! Would absolutely recommend this exceptional experience!!

My daughter and I had an amazing time with Alpine Air Dog Sledding! It was the perfect way to spend our last day in Alaska and ended our trip on such a high note. The dogs were incredible to see—it’s obvious how much they love what they do. The sled ride was an absolute thrill and so much fun! The staff was welcoming, friendly, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. The cost was very reasonable for such a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience. We felt it was well worth it. When we come back to Alaska, this will definitely be on our itinerary again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure!

This was an awesome and exciting experience! Everyone was friendly and helpful and professional. It was the trip of a lifetime! The flight was surreal as we flew to the glacier sight, and to see the dogs in the distance. Riding the dogsled with our guide, who was informative, and answered all our questions. A must do for any age!!!

Absolutely fabulous! It was a perfect 60* day and sunny. Gideon was our musher, very knowledgeable and personable. Sat in the front seats of the helicopter with fabulous views of the trip to the glacier and back. After meeting the puppies and cuddling them, we jumped on our sled and off we went! Fabulous! Have I said fabulous enough?? Highlight of our two month trip to Alaska. Do it.
