Costruito dopo l'uragano Galveston del 1900 per la protezione dai futuri uragani, The Galveston Seawall è una diga a Galveston, in Texas. La costruzione iniziò nel settembre 1902 e il segmento iniziale fu completato il 29 luglio 1904. Dal 1904 al 1963, la diga fu estesa da 5,3 km a 3,3 miglia (16 km).

Larry was very informative took us thru downtown and explained history of area. Segway nice way to see area
We were 2 beginners, after a short time practicing in the alley, we were totally comfortable. Larry was our guide. He was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. We toured around safely learning about the history of Galveston. He gave us recommendations for some free musuems, shopping and restaurants.
Fun and informative would definitely would do it again. They were very informative and knowledgeable.

The guide was fun, funny, informative, & safe conscious! I would highly recommend this tour. Our group were not at all familiar with segways & after his guidance, riding like they had ridden numerous times in the past. They were sore & tired but ready to go again the following day.
Been coming to Galveston for years but never left the Seawall area. The tour was a great way to see amazing parts of the Island that I didn’t know existed plus hear lots of historical information. Highly recommend!
