Tour in quad ATV di Samui

The best activity I did during my entire trip in Koh Samui!! I had a blast and can definitely recommend it

This activity was perfect for people who seek adrenaline and who also want to enjoy the scenery. The guides were super nice too! I’d highly recommend.

What a great day, two hours of amazing fun riding hard through the jungle, we split into three groups the experienced riders took a faster route and the less experienced took a slower route so everyone had as much fun as they could to there level of experience, the guides were amazing and took us to some amazing views through the unspoiled jungle we stopped at a high view point cafe, cold drinks and food available but not provided by the company so no need to take anything, the company is run by an English man (Rick) with years of off road experience and a great way of explaining the necessary safety aspects all in all a brilliant day that is in my opinion is one not to miss if you visit Samui.

We had a fantastic experience with Samui Quad Motor when we visited in July 2023 — everything from start to finish was smooth, professional, and a whole lot of fun! The quads were great, the trails were exciting and well-organized, and the overall setup was top-notch. The guides were friendly, patient, and made sure everyone felt safe and confident — even though we were the ones up front trying to go a bit faster! It was also a real pleasure to meet and chat with the English guy who runs the place — super friendly and clearly passionate about what he does. He took the time to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for an unforgettable ride. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Samui and looking for an off-road adventure. Thanks again for an awesome day out!

The guides went above and beyond to get some pics and vids whilst riding the quads. I was surprised by how good this experience was, the view point at the top was 10/10 would definitely recommend.

if this is your thing and you enjoy extreme sports and are experienced on intense off road ATV riding this may be for you. as something which is advertised as suitable for “all levels” it really needs to be advertised differently as it is far from that. safety briefing only included basic controls (how to start and stop that was it) not how to handle an ATV on rough inclined terrain. no instructors checked if you had any questions or checked you were fine by doing a practice run around the start point. all 3 drivers in our group had ridden quads on tours in different countries so we weren’t new to handling a quad but completely new to it on terrain like this. at first it looks like it could be enjoyable but our group began to get skeptical as we began to go up/down drops which were near enough vertical with no guidance on how to navigate them. my boyfriends quad began to malfunction going up the first couple of hills and he tried to tell the instructors multiple times that it kept tripping and going off up these incredibly steep inclines. the staff brushed it off and told him it was fine even though he was skeptical about continuing with a faulty quad (even though they couldn’t fix it for around 5 mins). we carried on for another 10 minutes until my boyfriends breaks malfunctioned on a incredibly steep downwards hill resulting in him ploughing into the side of the track so he wouldn’t go into the group in front of him. this resulted in the ATV falling on top of him, him smashing his head on the rocky floor and cutting his elbow open. he was under there for a couple of minutes and was struggling to breathe from the weight of the vehicle on top of him. once he got back on the track his breaks went again, he told us what had happened and our group bailed out as we deemed it as not safe at all. we are not people who easily back out of things but this was too much for us and the fact we couldn’t trust the equipment provided didn’t help too. my quads steering at times felt rough and kept veering to the sides and my breaks wasn’t the best too. i was clinging on for dear life at some points and not taking in any views or anything due to the insane amount of concentration i was putting into not coming off it and also keeping up with the instructor who was driving like a maniac. i would not be leaving this poor review if it wasn’t down to the ATV malfunctioning causing my boyfriends injuries, he was not acting stupid on the course and was being cautious. he had to take it off the track to avoid even further injuries and it could’ve ended way worse if he didn’t make that choice. didn’t expect to go on this and come back genuinely feeling like our lives were at risk. be wary booking this as my boyfriend didn’t cause this it was the lack of care by staff issuing these vehicles to people when they know they aren’t safe. god knows how many people have had previous injuries at this place. i know safety regulations in thailand aren’t the best but this place is a disaster waiting to happen.

Top experience. But it should be added that this tour is not suitable for beginners. Guides were very friendly and helpful

We were picked up from our destination on time ,it was really raining and the guid have us all ponchos to put on . The quads were really powerful and the tracks were fun to ride . Because of the rain we had lots of water and rivers to cross ,this only made it more fun .

Great experience. Did the 2 hour tour. Only stopped once half way through to get something the drink. The rest of the time was fun filled riding over some great trails.
