Itinerario
Pedalare attraverso il quartiere più pittoresco di Atene Plaka, è un ottimo modo per iniziare il tour verso la costa.
Facciamo la nostra prima piccola sosta in una splendida posizione con vista sulle rovine dell'Agorà romana di Atene, con monumenti come la Torre dei Venti che è considerata la prima stazione meteorologica al mondo, la Porta di Atena Archegetis e la Moschea di Fetiye.
Ammira la Torre dei Venti, questo spettacolare edificio ottagonale che era una stazione meteorologica in epoca romana.
Mentre ammirate gli edifici dell'Agorà romana noterete anche l'imponente moschea Fethiye sopravvissuta ai tempi degli ottomani.
Continuiamo il nostro viaggio attraverso l'antico sentiero che attraversa l'antica Agorà di Atene, l'amministrazione e il centro commerciale e il cuore dell'antica città di Atene. Qui puoi vedere tra gli altri la Chiesa bizantina dei Santi Apostoli, il Tempio di Efesto e la Stoà di Attalo.
Mentre percorriamo un antico sentiero, vediamo questa splendida piccola chiesa ortodossa dei Santi Apostoli dai tempi bizantini.
Vediamo anche l'antico tempio di Efesto, molto ben conservato.

Non appena oltrepassi il percorso dell'Antica Agorà, hai davanti a te uno dei più bei cinema all'aperto di Atene, che è stato in circolazione dal 1935, Cine Thision.
Scopri la Stoa di Attalo nell'antica Agorà che ospita il Museo dell'Agorà.
Dopo aver attraversato i quartieri di Atene su una grande pista ciclabile, raggiungiamo lo spettacolare edificio del centro culturale Stavros Niarhos progettato dal famoso architetto Renzo Piano.
Attraversiamo i limiti della città antica, passando per il sito archeologico di Keramikos che comprende le rovine del quartiere del vasaio dell'antica Atene, l'antico cimitero di Keramikos e le antiche mura della città.
Ammira l'impressionante Battaglia Navale che veniva usata in guerre storiche come le guerre balcaniche, la prima guerra mondiale e persino la seconda guerra mondiale, così come le Olimpiadi come ricostruzione di un'antica trireme.
Goditi la vita da spiaggia ateniese sulla spiaggia di Kalamaki! Avrai tempo libero per esplorare, bere qualcosa o persino fare una nuotata!
Vedremo la nuova biblioteca di Atene con il suo tetto verde, parte della SNFCC.
Tornando in bici, attraversiamo il bellissimo quartiere di Thissio. Stiamo cavalcando su una bella strada acciottolata e stiamo assaporando lo stile di vita all'aria aperta di Atene.
Facciamo la nostra ultima fermata di fronte all'entrata ovest dell'Acropoli e vediamo questo monumento mozzafiato da un altro punto di vista.
Attraversa la bellissima Marina di Flisvos, dove attraccano le lussuose imbarcazioni veloci e gli yacht.
Ci fermeremo in una bella spiaggia e se il tempo lo permette, potrete nuotare per un po '.

Nice and cruisey bike ride from the city to the ocean. We liked that we weren’t on any main roads once out of the city. Once at the sea we had free time to swim or grab a bite at the cafe. Our guide Alex was great fun, lots of laughs and chats along the way. I think he’s worthy of having a bike named after him ;)

What an amazing way to see Athens! The ride was smooth and safe. Our tour guide Costas was amazing!, he explained different parts of the city and even provided a long list of suggestions for restaurants and things to do in Athens. We really enjoyed his company and knowledge. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone!! Because it’s the best way to see the city, while doing something outdoors and being active!

A great way to discover Athens. You get to know not only the typical tourist places, but also a nice insight to other quarters of Athens away from the city center. We cycled safely on cycle paths and pedestrian areas all the way out to the city‘s lovely beaches. Physically it was not challenging because of the e-bikes provided for the tour. We were lucky to be the only guests that day so we had we you might call a private tour. We were also lucky to have Aggelos as our guide. He turned out to be extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his city and he patiently answered all our questions about greek culture, politics, history … . His english was excellent and so over all he was a very pleasant companion. We would recommend this tour for those who want to discover Athens off the beaten track.

Truly an excellent experience. My guide Kleanthis was truly kind, professional, very attentive, and meticulous. Even though I did not always understand English, he did everything to explain the various places we passed through. From the historic center to the sea, it is a relaxing and very interesting e-bike tour. We made strategic stops, and he gave me time to take a swim in the sea as well. The bike is super comfortable. I recommend this tour to everyone and sincerely thank the organization and the guide who accompanied me.

The route was amazing, very safe & scenic! The bikes were fantastic, as much or as Little assist as you like. and our guide Kostas was engaging,patient, and completely knowledgeable about our ride. A great ride through the old city then outer Athens down to the marina and beach in a perfect sunlit morning. Kostas our guide was great company and very informative, and the pastry shop along the way was extraordinary. Great bikes too: a much cooler way to get around than traipsing through the sun. Highly recommend this tour as a way of seeing more than the usual sites.
