Itinerario
Trascorri circa due ore di crociera lungo il fiordo di Última Esperanza, passando per attrazioni come lo storico stabilimento di conservazione frigorifera di Bories, i tradizionali ranch della Patagonia, le panoramiche cascate e i ghiacciai. Lungo la strada, vedrai anche una colonia di cormorani imperiali e uno sperone roccioso dove si riuniscono i leoni marini. Il capitano effettua soste nei migliori punti panoramici, dandoti il tempo di ammirare il paesaggio dal tuo posto dentro o fuori su uno dei due ponti della barca, mentre la tua Guida condivide storie e approfondimenti sulla regione.
All'arrivo a Puerto Toro, scenderete dalla barca per un'escursione di un'ora all'interno dello splendido Parco Nazionale Bernardo O'Higgins. Questa area protetta ospita paesaggi incontaminati, flora autoctona e viste mozzafiato sui ghiacciai.
Sempre all'interno del parco nazionale, seguirai un dolce sentiero di 20 minuti con passerelle in legno su terreno irregolare, rendendolo accessibile a tutti i viaggiatori. Il sentiero conduce al belvedere del Ghiacciaio Serrano, dove avrete tempo libero per ammirare il paesaggio e scattare foto prima di tornare indietro lungo lo stesso sentiero e salire nuovamente sulla barca per il viaggio di ritorno.
Durante la crociera di ritorno, la barca naviga vicino all'imponente Ghiacciaio Balmaceda. Mentre ti godi il panorama, ti verrà servito un bicchiere di whisky sul ghiaccio del ghiacciaio, una vera tradizione della Patagonia. Il viaggio termina di nuovo al molo Arturo Prat intorno alle 13:00, giusto in tempo per pranzare in uno dei tanti ristoranti locali di Puerto Natales.

While we were standing at the dock to for boarding at 6:30, an email arrived st 6:28. The trip was cancelled due to weather, although the weather was fine. Very unprofessional.

Please understand that the decision to cancel trips is always made in the morning based on safety protocols and weather forecasts. We booked a half day cruise with plans to do an additional tour in the afternoon. On the return the boat went over a sandbar and we were stuck inside the boat for two hours while they attempted to call for help. They finally decided to get a tug boat to remove us which took an additional hour and a half. We had to load on two inflatable boats to take us to the tug boat The tug boat then took us to shore to bus us back. There was little food or water and we missed our other tour. They promised to give us a full refund of $310 but that has not happened. And Viator has not provided any update.

The whole trip went really well although we were a little apprehensive about the meeting point as we only had the information on tripadvisor. I thought we may have had something from the trip organiser but we didn’t. Fortunately it all went well and we were on the ‘the list’! Loved seeing the glaciers and waterfall up close and the condors made it extra special. The staff on the boat were very helpful and friendly! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
