Our guide was informative but when he spoke to a passenger about her daughters saying one should stay with him as a worker. “You have two let me have one”. That was creepy!!!! He then proceeded to recommend how much the tip should be. $20 per person or $50 but definitely if you are a couple should be at least $40. They also (i believe) faked a stall of the motor. We did in fact see fish that they fed for about two minutes twice in our tour so wide frame and enjoy your experience. I won’t be returning.
Where do I start?! This boat which is from ENVATOURS and is called the CLEAR BOAT is simply amazing. It’s like you’re snorkeling without having to get wet or even breathe lol. Keep breathing but not into a snorkel lol. Anyways. Just insane boat. Great tour which shows all the usual spots but in all honesty. Go just to watch what’s going on underneath you. It’s such a great tour. Awesome job ENVATOURS
What to expect section mentions 1hr boat tour, 2hrs at beach, 2hrs free time in town. We were only taken to the boat tour so plans for the day were thrown off. Boat tour itself was fine but we expected to see more of San Lucas. All we saw was the gift shop and the marina where we got on the boat.
Be aware it’s self tour in marina area for 5 hours. Not on the lovers beach, just viewing. Besides they were trying to shorten our time to 1.5 hours. We spent half an hour to talk to different people to get the original plan back. It’s only $38 If you book with Envatour. The roat ride itself was good.
Great experience from start to finish! Driver was great, friendly and polite. He had some fun things to point out enroute to the marina. The boat guide was good. She was vey hard to hear though, so maybe a bit more volume! The arch is so much more stunning in parson, same woth the wildlife and fish, a must do in Cabo!
The length of activity was listed as 45 min boat ride. But when taking the shuttle and the added 2 hours of “free time” that were not mentioned be prepared for a 5-6 hour event. My daughter overheated when departing from the boat and we asked to get a ride back to our hotel, but they could not accommodate that request. There was no concern for her or any help offered, just a “sorry we leave at 1:30”.

Upon booking the excursion, you can review a description with an itinerary of all the stops and transportation time during your evento, also, the guide provide you with a pickup time list, where you choose the time you want to come back at the hotel. Unfortunately, being this a shared tour, we need to adjust to our group time and we are not able to accommodate special transfer requests during such time. We understand how frustrating this could be to you, Be sure we monitor our employees' service closely so they meet our standards and they also need to follow our protocols and guidelines on each tour. We'd like to discuss a bit further about this situation, as we don't have any report about a heatstroke at any of our tours in the past months. The boat itself is really cool & unique and the guides are great as well. It’s about a 45 min ride and a few stops to see fish & another to see the arch. Overall the experience was great. What I did not like was that the tour company picks you up early (~1 hr) so you have no other choice to shop or eat and then picks you up to return to the hotel 2.5 hours after the boat ride gets back to the marina. Again, all this is so that you’ll spend money in town, which is fine but with a toddler, a true pain in the ass and honestly quite annoying. Thankfully the driver did arrange for us to go back an hour earlier so we did get lunch before heading back. We stayed in San Jose del Cabo and from an 8:15 pick we got on the 10:00 boat and then we left town at 12:30. Still a good 5 hours out. Still recommend the boat ride but just know it’s only 45 min out of the total 5 hours (which should have been 6 hrs had I not asked)
I thought this was a gimmick advertising a clear boat, but it turned out to be a great new experience in Cabo. It is a bit more expensive than taking a glass bottom viewing boat, but it was neat to be able to see thru the hull. Saw lots of fish! If you want to try this, look for discounts from the concierge in your hotel.

This was a short boat ride around the arch and beaches. The boat is see through fiber glass which was super cool. Lasts about 50 minutes. Price is reasonable and the tour guide we had was great. Informative, not too long, not to pricey and a nice addition to the trip.

The tour guide was excellent. The only thing I was disappointed with is that we only stopped once to look at the fish. It would have been nice to be able to see them longer
