Partenza da Zurigo a bordo di un autobus panoramico sul tetto di vetro con una Guida, con brevi soste a Lucerna e Interlaken per prendere i passeggeri, prima di viaggiare nel cuore dell'Oberland bernese. Continua la tua salita allo spettacolare Schilthorn, che raggiunge i 2.970 metri e famoso per il suo panorama alpino mozzafiato a 360°. In vetta, entra nel mondo di James Bond al leggendario Piz Gloria. Prova l'emozionante Skyline Walk, una piattaforma sospesa costruita sul bordo della scogliera. Da non perdere la Walk of Fame, dove famosi membri del cast e collaboratori del film di Bond “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” sono onorati lungo un panoramico sentiero di montagna. Arrivo nel villaggio mozzafiato di Lauterbrunnen, famosa valle piena di prati alpini, chalet tradizionali e 72 cascate, tra cui le cascate di Staubbach. Infine, goditi il tempo libero a Interlaken, , passeggia lungo il famoso lungomare di Höheweg e guarda i parapendii alla deriva con grazia sopra lo skyline della valle.

Il Piz Gloria si trova a 2970 m di altitudine, circondato da quasi 200 vette, in parte alpine, al centro di un mondo alpino intatto. Come un'icona, questa costruzione unica si erge sulla cima dello Schilthorn. La vista del panorama circolare è mozzafiato: maestosamente, l'Eiger, il Mönch, la Jungfrau e altre vette delle Alpi bernesi e vallesane si affiancano. Tra l'ottobre 1968 e il maggio 1969, lo Schilthorn è stato il luogo principale per le riprese del film "Al servizio segreto di Sua Maestà". Il ristorante girevole fungeva da nascondiglio per il malvagio Blofeld e nel film è stato chiamato "Piz Gloria" che è rimasto fino ad oggi. In Bond World, la mostra interattiva dedicata al film, i visitatori sono immersi in sette scene chiave delle riprese e negli aneddoti ad esso relativi. Imparano i dettagli sulle riprese, possono ammirare la sceneggiatura originale e provare varie prodezze à la 007. Una discesa in bob a velocità vertiginosa e un volo in un simulatore di elicottero nella cabina originale di un Air Glaciers Alouette III garantiscono minuti da brivido. Non mancano aneddoti emozionanti sulla sparatoria, raccontati dai partecipanti e dagli autoctoni, oltre ad articoli dai media dell'epoca.

The experience was good. The drive to and from Schiltorn was scenic and peaceful. I appreciated the complimentary, refrigerated bottled water and fresh sweets offered by the tour driver. The tour is self-directed and the driver stays behind, though.
schiltorn was cancelled due to the cable car not functioning. the tour operators did not notify me. it was only by chance when I enquired where i was to redeem my ticket then only they told me it was cancelled. I was given options for another tour or a refund. I chose another tour which was 30 francs more. I was told I could have used my credit card,but when I had to pay they said cash only. so I used up all my remaining francs. I was very disappointed in that. the tour itself was enjoyable.

Let me start by saying our driver/guide was excellent. The difficulties we experienced were weather and construction related. Upon our arrival we came upon a muddy lot full of construction materials and equipment. The lower gondola station is under major reconstruction. As is ALL of the gondola facilities and way stations. There was now where to sit, no refreshments availible, just mud, dirt and debris everywhere. As we traversed our way up the mountain we found similar conditions at each stop. Most cars were shared with workers moving equipment. When we finally arrived at the top at the Schiltorn Station, more, heavier construction. Much of the view from the revolving restaurant was of workers on the other side of the glass looking back you. Many of the features of the 007 Experience were out of order. It seemed as if they were just letting things go until construction was over. It will be an amazing place to visit and experience AFTER CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETED. Not sure when that will be since all signs referenced a completion date of 20XX. They don't even know. I would not recommend this tour until after construction is done. We are very disappointed to have paid nearly $500 for half of an experience and no one from the travel company said a word about what we would encounter.

Incredible day in the gorgeous Alps!! Tony is a great guide! Full of information about the area. I highly recommend this tour!! 5 stars for sure!!
We ended up the only two people on the tour which was amazing. The bus holds about 10-15 people so it would be a small group normally. The drive is a bit long but it's so very worth it. I would suggest going all the way to the top to start. Check out the James Bond exhibit, which has lots of interactive things to do. Then grab a meal in the spinning restaurant on the top floor. Don't worry, it moves slowly. We got the buffet for about $37 per person and hung out for almost 2 hours enjoying the spectacular view. If you like small cities, save time to head back down and visit the small hillside village. There is shopping, food and drinks available. Our guide said to allow 40 mins to get from the top to the bottom. We started heading down about 2 pm and got to the bus 3:15 pm. Plan ahead because it was very busy. This was a Sunday in Jan 2024.
