Il nostro rappresentante di viaggio insieme all'autista ti incontrerà al tuo hotel alle 07:45. Sarai informato sul tuo tour nello stesso giorno a Ranthambore e consegnerai i tuoi biglietti per il safari. Quindi proseguirai per Ranthambore. Ci vorranno ca. 4 ore per raggiungere Ranthambore.
Il forte di Ranthambore fu costruito dai governanti Chauhan nel X secolo. Per la sua posizione strategica, era l'ideale per tenere a bada il nemico. Il forte è anche legato alla leggenda storica delle donne reali che eseguivano "jauhar" (autoimmolazione) quando l'invasore musulmano Alauddin Khilji pose l'assedio su questo forte nel 1303. Il forte è caratterizzato da templi, cisterne, porte massicce e mura enormi. Costruito nel 944 d.C., il forte di Ranthambore è stato testimone di numerosi assedi e battaglie. Probabilmente la più famosa tra queste è la guerra di Rao Hamir nel 1301 contro il Sultano di Delhi, Alauddin Khilji. Una meraviglia architettonica, il forte comprende molte attrazioni come Toran Dwar, Mahadeo Chhatri e Haveli all'interno dei suoi locali. Dopo aver completato il tuo Safari al Ranthambore National Park, verrai prelevato dal nostro autista e proseguirai per Jaipur. Potresti avere la possibilità di cenare sulla strada per Jaipur, se lo desideri (a tue spese). Ti lasceremo al tuo hotel prenotato a Jaipur.

This tour was pretty good. There was confusion about eating lunch or visiting the castle. In the description it noted after the drive from Jaipur, you'd go to lunch and then have an hour at the castle, but they were going to skip the castle without telling me. When I picked up on it, I texted the organizer and they made the adjustment, but that meant skipping lunch, which made for a long hungry day. Could have been better organized in that respect. An hour really isn't enough to see the castle, as you have to hike up to it and back (and we are fast hikers). It also looked like you would get a jeep for the tour of the park, but we were put on a huge truck with twenty plus other people for the park tour. It was not what I would call a private tour, so a little misleading. We did see a ton of wildlife, including a royal Bengal so I was quite satisfied-- and I don't think those in the jeeps saw it. One advantage to the large truck with so many other people is that there are a lot of eyes to spot the wildlife. Still I was disappointed no to have the private jeep as I expected. The driver stopped before we left, so we could have dinner before we drove back. All and all nice service to and from Rathambore, just got to make sure they take you where you expect to go and speak up if things are not going according to plan. If you want a private jeep, you might want to use a different company for the park. There were plenty of jeeps available, but this company didn't book one for us, despite inferring a private tour and having a picture of a jeep on the tour booking.
