La Porta Settentrionale della Georgia - chiamata anche Montagna Kazbegi, una città della valle con la famosa silhouette in cima alla collina della chiesa di Holly Sameba e l'imponente cono innevato del Monte Kazbek che guarda da ovest. Ora ufficialmente chiamato Stepantsminda, ma ancora comunemente noto come Kazbegi, è una base per passeggiate meravigliose. Ogni stagione ha la sua bellezza unica, in inverno c'è molta neve e tutte le montagne sono coperte di neve, in primavera e in estate tutto è verde e pieno di fiori diversi, l'autunno è sorprendente con le sue foreste colorate. È un'esperienza unica per i visitatori per la prima volta in Georgia.

Ottima vista o montagne, foresta e riserva d'acqua, una buona occasione per scattare foto a memoria e allungare le gambe.
Fortezza ben riservata, con splendidi panorami e storia interessante. la possibilità di acquistare buoni souvenir al di fuori della fortezza.
Confluenza di due fiumi, bianco e nero "Aragvi". vedremo una torre di allarme vecchia di circa 500 anni. (Mentre il nemico si avvicinava, le guardie accesero fuochi nelle torri e informarono la capitale del pericolo imminente.)
** Solo in inverno (novembre-marzo), quando la stazione sciistica è coperta di neve, la possibilità di fare un giro su funivie e vedere la bellezza delle montagne del Caucaso. La durata del posto dipende da noi, può essere di 15 minuti o più di poche ore. ** Il posto è a 20 minuti di auto da Gudauri a Kazbegi, chiamato "Traventinses", belle stalagmiti gialle ma nel periodo invernale è completamente coperto di neve e non saremo in grado di vederlo. disponibile da marzo-novembre
Ci fermeremo per il pranzo sulla strada per il villaggio di Stepantsminda. (ci sono molti altri posti per il pranzo, concorderemo dove andare dove nel posto)

Mamia was phenomenal guide who gave us proper Georgian experiance. He took us to all the top sites, stopping at a few shops, wineries and even guided us to an authentic dinner locarion. His extensive knowladge made him the perfect guide for us! Highly recommend !
We had the most fantastic tour, Tamari our guide was really knowledgeable and brought the mountains of Kazbegi to life. It was so interesting learning the stories behind the centuries and certainly opened my eye to look around and spot the minor details as well

We absolutely loved the energy of this tour. The drive up the military road was thrilling, the stops were perfectly timed and sharing the massive local khinkali at lunch. It you and your partner want incredible day out, don't skip this.

Visiting Kazbegi was like stepping into a postcard! The landscape is surreal rugged peaks, lush valleys and the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church overlooking it all. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the region’s history and local traditions, which made the trip feel very personal and immersive. The hike to the monastery was challenging but absolutely worth it for the panoramic views of Mount Kazbek. We also had the chance to interact with locals in nearby villages, giving a genuine feel of mountain life in Georgia.
