Fantastic from start to finish! We received a detailed itinerary prior to travel. From the moment we arrived, our dedicated driver (Said) took care of everything. He coordinated the guides and activities each day. We just had to enjoy! The riads were gorgeous. They are the best way to experience Morocco. Ishmael selected beautiful spots for us to relax which were convenient to walk around during our down time. The local guides were knowledgeable with much value added at each stop (Chechouen, Rabat, Fes, Volubilis, & Marrakech). The journey is tailorable before or during. There were a few planned things that we skipped—no worries as Said took care of it all. The focus is on the trip experience that you want, not just a schedule. Ishmael was our driver/guide for the 8 day trip starting in Tangier. From the beginning, we were postponed a day in Miami and had to contact him to say we were arriving a day late. He was responsive and able to help adjust our plan easily which took away some stress. He was engaging, warm, and friendly from the very start. The more we learned about Morocco and him, we just felt so grateful he was our guide. Such a warm and funny person, he started to feel like a close friend. He even planned a surprise cake for my friend's 50th birthday dinner. It was my favorite night when he and a local guide joined us for dinner. I highly recommend touring with Ishmael if given the opportunity.

This tour was a dream come true!! My husband and I booked the 8 night highlight luxury tour of Morocco and it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed authentic Moroccan experiences with luxury desert camping and marketplace riads, gorgeous mountain scenery and amazing food. Our guide Ismail was easy going and respectful, with a great sense of humour, and is knowledgeable about his country with good explanations of its history, traditions and culture. He gave us choices and was flexible when we wanted to stop and browse along the way. His vehicle was well presented, clean and comfortable and could easily fit 6 passengers. We felt very safe in his hands on the drive. Our accommodation was clean and very comfortable with a Moroccan feel throughout the tour. I’m so glad I didn’t book one of the many ‘two for one’ tour deals being offered with other companies. This little bit of luxury made an enormous difference to our overall experience. I can’t speak highly enough of our experience. The process was flawless throughout and I would be happy to engage the services of Moroccan Private Tours again. I definitely recommend it to others.
