Was it unconventional yes, was it worth it yes. We loosely planned a completely ludicrous itinerary that included Stonehenge and the Cotswolds and somehow they made it happen. Eddie Prendergast then improvised further filling in the gaps and took us on a fantastic journey to sights that most wouldn't see like Winston Churchill's grave, Blenheim Palace, the Windsor Walk, lunch at the Porch House Stow-on-the-Wold, Cheltenham with sticky toffee pudding and sights of the Cotswolds with unique ideas that a normal tour just can't accomplish. Thank you London Country Tours(David) And most of all thank you Eddie for sharing your day with us.

Eddie was our lovely driver, and he truly made our day to the Cotswolds the best day of our vacation! He went above and beyond to get as much as we could out of our day trip. He knew how to avoid traffic, how to get us in to the best areas, where to eat, best routes to take, all the things. On top of that, he was quite fun and a great guy! He even gave us helpful advice and recommendations that we used for the rest of our vacation! Can’t recommend him enough! Thank you, Eddie!

Darius was our driver for the day and he was lovely. Such a great guy. The car was well appointed with water, tissues, phone chargers, and reclining seats for our afternoon nap! He told us a bit of his life history and some things about where we were going, drove us to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle (our pre-planned choices for destination), and surprised us with a few small stops for great family photo ops. He reserved a table at a small town local authentic pub for us for lunch. We all loved it. We travelled with our 13 and 16 year old. It was a great day for everyone! We all highly recommend. Secure your venue tickets beforehand.

Eddie was an incredible guide, showing us all around London in a day. There were a few hiccups in our schedule that he worked around nicely. He saw that we were well taken care of, and gave us lots of practical hints for getting the most of our tour.

I highly recommend London Country Tours. This was the third time I booked with David Stubbs. Again, his tours were the highlight of our trip. We were once again enchanted with the magic of England. David's tours provided door to door service and he timed our visits to minimize crowds and maximize our enjoyment. He and his colleagues are expert at avoiding delays and knowing some surprises to enthrall us. Thank you for giving us such treasured memories. We had just watched Wolf Hall and were delighted to learn so much about the Boleyn family. The Cotswalds were as lovely as ever.

Christopher was exceptional. Went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful day. Can’t say enough nice things about him. And about all the wonderful places he showed us.

Our guide was Peter. He was entirely open to making sure we saw and did the things we wanted to do. By being so flexible the day was completely ours. He made it an unforgettable experience.

Edie was great! Nice tour, shared a lot of his knowledge and experience with us. We even made an extra stop at the Greenwich timeliness. David Stubbs was kind and very accommodating on short notice. Thank you.

Fabulous time! Eddie Pendergast was our driver and he was awesome. We saw so much in a day with such great commentary. We would highly recommend the experience if you only have a day!
