È una moschea e un'ex chiesa che funge da importante sito culturale e storico a Istanbul, in Turchia. Ultimo di tre edifici ecclesiastici ad essere eretto successivamente sul sito dall'Impero Romano d'Oriente, fu completato nel 537 d.C. Il sito fu una chiesa greco-ortodossa dal 360 d.C. al 1453, tranne per un breve periodo come chiesa cattolica latina tra la quarta crociata e il 1261. Dopo la caduta di Costantinopoli nel 1453, servì come moschea fino al 1935, quando divenne un museo. Nel 2020, il sito è diventato ancora una volta una moschea.
La Moschea Blu di Istanbul, conosciuta anche con il suo nome ufficiale, Moschea del Sultano Ahmed, è una storica moschea imperiale di epoca ottomana situata a Istanbul, in Turchia. Fu costruita tra il 1609 e il 1617 durante il regno di Ahmed I e rimane ancora oggi una moschea funzionante.
