Il vostro gruppo con un minimo di 2 persone può godere di un prelievo mattutino dal vostro alloggio per essere alle porte del Parco Nazionale di Arusha entro le 10:00 circa. Il viaggio verso il parco è breve; piantagioni di caffè e piccole città con la vita frenetica quotidiana ti tengono intrattenuto per i 50 minuti necessari fino a quando non si gira su una strada sterrata e si inizia a salire verso il cancello del parco. Qui, un ranger armato si unirà prima di affrontare le pianure aperte per il tuo tranquillo safari mattutino all'ombra del Monte Meru. Risalire la via di salita del Monte Meru offre una prospettiva interessante sulla visione della fauna selvatica con grandi panorami del parco sottostante. Una volta di nuovo giù al cancello, guidare la breve distanza a Momella Lakes per un pranzo al sacco (costo aggiuntivo di $ 10 USD). Qui, puoi goderti un safari in canoa (facoltativo) sul lago o continuare con safari pomeridiani attraverso il parco ad un ritmo rilassato. Nel tardo pomeriggio lascia il parco per tornare al tuo alloggio.
Il monte Meru è uno stratovulcano dormiente situato a 70 chilometri a ovest del monte Kilimangiaro, nel paese della Tanzania. Ad un'altezza di 4.562,13 metri, è visibile dal Kilimangiaro in una giornata limpida ed è la quinta montagna più alta in Africa, a seconda della definizione.

This was our first of 6 safari locations spanning Arusha National Park, Tarangarire, Ngorngoro Crater, and Central Serengeti. A great introduction to Tanzania's warm culture and the beautiful animals. Our guide Julius was informative, interesting, fun, and made us feel safe the entire day. Although a little further away than we saw at the other parks, we did see giraffes, colobus monkeys, zebras, Cape Buffalo, and a hippo! Baboons were also plentiful and entertaining. Lunch overlooking the lake was very good and water through the day was plentiful.

<p>Took the tour the last day of my 1 week trip, flying out at 8:50pm, tour lasted 7:30am - 5pm, paid the tour company to drop me off at The airport at the end of the tour. Worked out perfectly. </p> <p>After a six day safari visiting Serengeti, ngorongoro, tarengeri and lake manyara, I was not expecting much. But it is beyond my expectations! The walking safari was the highlight. We were lucky to run into a family of 5 giraffes right at the start of the walking tour. It's amazing walking on soft grass grounds, 10 meters from giraffes, 50 meters from a few buffaloes, with another huge herd of buffaloes 100 meters away on the other side of a small creek, with mountain meru as the background There are also a lot of sighting of baby giraffes, in addition to flamingos lake, hippos lake, lot of monkeys. It's mostly a rain forest, very different look from the other parks. A great way to end my first safari! </p> <p>My guide was amazing. It's low season, I was the only guest in the car, just like a private tour. Highly recommended!</p>
