I would recommend this tour to large groups. It sure gives him a better understanding of Gettysburg.
This tour was absolutely awesome. I learned so much. Our guide, Jim, was very knowledgeable and made us feel like we were at the 3 day battle!

The bus and driver were great. The guide John was informative. However, he was much too involved with each disagreement with the leaders of both armies. He would be much more suited for a group of people that just wanted to discuss the strategy rather than overall information.
If a person has ambulation issues, they should be aware of some small amount of walking. However they can remain on the bus.

Listen to the guide, and enjoy. Get some history of Gettysburg before the tour, this will help eith the understanding of the battle.

If you go to Gettysburg and want to really hear about the battle, take this tour. Our guide, Kristen, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable but discussed everything as if she was talking to a friend. You pick whether or not you ride on top or inside when you purchase tickets.

Our guide, Jim Miller, was outstanding regarding the battle and our driver, Amy, was able to steer the bus place I couldn’t drive a SUV.
