Niente dice Natale come Dyker Heights, la più famosa esposizione di luci del pianeta. La gente del posto decora le proprie case – personalmente e professionalmente – dagli anni '80, rendendola un vero e proprio paese delle meraviglie invernale di New York. IL TOUR SI SVOLGERÀ PIOGGIA O BRILLA! Il viaggio da Midtown a Dyker Heights a Brooklyn dura circa un'ora a bordo del nostro comodo pullman completamente riscaldato con bagno a bordo. La tua Guida ti accompagnerà a casa di Lucy Spata, la casa che ha iniziato questa tradizione, e ti accompagnerà attraverso le strade più illuminate prima di riportarti all'autobus. Trascorrerai circa un'ora a Dyker Heights passeggiando e scattando foto. La prossima tappa sarà ai piedi del ponte di Brooklyn, nella zona di DUMBO/Brooklyn Heights a Brooklyn. Avrai circa 25 minuti per scattare foto dello skyline mozzafiato di Manhattan e del Ponte. Poi tornerai a Manhattan attraverso il Manhattan Bridge. Il tour termina al Bryant Park Winter Village.

Itinerario
Questa è la tappa principale del nostro tour. (Nota: gli autobus non sono ammessi in Dyker Heights a causa delle strade strette). La tua guida ti accompagnerà nelle due strade più illuminate e ti orienterà. Avrai quindi un'ora per esplorare e scattare foto da solo.
Fermati per godere di viste spettacolari sul Ponte di Brooklyn e sullo spettacolare Skyline di Manhattan illuminato! (Nota: la durata può variare tra 20-30 minuti a seconda del traffico.)
Questo è dove finisce il nostro tour. Il Winter Village di Bryant Park è un mercato con oltre 150 bancarelle che vendono cibo, bevande e regali stagionali e una grande pista di pattinaggio sul ghiaccio con noleggio di pattini. Si può godere la vista del colorato albero di Natale Bryant Park e acquistare uno dei migliori cioccolata calda in città. Il Rockefeller Center e il suo albero distano solo pochi minuti a piedi da qui.

The tour tour guide and bus driver did not even know the proper route and ended up making us take an extra hour getting back. There were way too many people, and they couldn't even keep us all together. We were told to be back at a certain time if we got separated, and we ended up waiting a half hour for the rest of the tour group to get back. This was probably the worst Villa tour I've ever done.
There aren't many words to say. Open your eyes and enjoy the spectacle of Natale.sensaziinale really deserves to be visited.

This was a very cool and touristy experience on our recent trip to NYC. It was just SO crowded, which was expected since it was so close to the holidays. Be patient and enjoy the atmosphere! The additional stops on the tour were also cool.
I would rate this a 4-5 star for the sights bc they are definitely beautiful. However, I would give it a 3 as far as convenience & comfort. Be ready to walk a lot outside. If you aren't semi-in shape or have mobility issues this is not for you. Bundle up...it was cold and your outside at least 1 hour. Also, be sure to bring your own water or beverages. When you get to Dyker Heights, there are local vendors selling drinks/food but the tour guide advised not to purchase. Be sure to use the bathroom before bc there are NONE and you walk a good hour and are on the bus about 45 mins before and after (the description for this said restroom on bus but there was not). The Christmas lights were beautiful but were SO many people, it was hard to get really good photographs. Lots of shoving and pushing. Im glad I got to see it but wouldn't do again.
Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable and made our tour very fun and engaging this trip will be a tradition for us when we visit NY again for the holiday season
This was such a wonderful experience. Our guide, Alvin was very knowledgeable about the history of the Christmas decorations at Dyker Heights. He was very patient and made sure we had the best experience. I’d recommend this to anyone in NYC during Christmas time.
Not worth it. We walked a few blocks and there were only like 3 houses to look at. I would not do it again.
Nice experience .. took the hassle out of driving to Brooklyn from Midtown. Plenty of time to walk around. Nice stop at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge.
A Jaw dropping display of lights. There were Great photo ops of the NYC skyline with a little Manhattan History Lesson thrown in.
