We booked our tour through City Tours. On the morning of the tour, my young daughter unexpectedly got her first period. Any parent — and certainly any woman — will understand the shock and distress this involves for a girl going through it for the very first time, away from home. We managed the situation as best we could and still arrived only about 18 minutes late. By then the tour had left, which we accepted. What we cannot accept is what came next. I contacted City Tours immediately, explained the circumstances, and asked whether they could reschedule us or offer any alternative at all. They refused outright — no flexibility, no goodwill, not the slightest consideration for what my daughter had just been through. I am writing this so other travellers — especially women, and parents of daughters — know what to expect. When a genuine, unavoidable emergency arises, this operator offers nothing. We will never book with them again.

Because late arrivals cannot be accommodated once a group has left, we are unable to hold tours past their scheduled start time out of fairness to all other booked guests. Regarding rescheduling, we regret that we were unable to move your booking. Our tours for today and the coming days are completely sold out, so we unfortunately have no additional tickets or capacity to offer an alternative slot. We had an outstanding tour of La Sagrada Família with Marta! She was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging, bringing Gaudí's masterpiece to life with fascinating stories and historical context. Her explanations made it easy to appreciate the incredible symbolism, architecture, and artistry of the basilica. Marta was also warm, patient, and happy to answer all of our questions, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. We left with a much deeper appreciation for this iconic landmark. Highly recommend Marta to anyone visiting La Sagrada Família!
Wow the history and stories about Gaudi are phenomenal and Jana was an excellent tour guide explaining every aspect of the Sagradas history!
Clear instructions on meeting arrangements. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave a great insight into the history of the building, pointing out small details that would have been missed. This is an experience not to be missed.

Tour guide Marta was knowledgeable and patient with questions. Her ability to speak English clearly was a big plus. The Sagrada Familia is an amazing place. The 2 hours was barely enough to see and learn the history and the current things to complete the project. We stayed after the tour was over to take in more of ithe beauty of the church. I would recommend going in late afternoon to get the most of the vibrancy of the stained glass windows.
We really enjoyed the Sagrada! It was awe-inspiring, much like St. Peter's. Our guide was excellent and really knew her stuff. She seemed to enjoy sharing the information too.

This tour is very well organized, from the directional text that was sent the day before with very clear instructions, to our wonderful guide Albert, we truly enjoyed this tour, and recommend it to anyone looking to visit the Sagrada Familia, ask to be put in Albert’s group if possible.
