Our guide Destin was amazing, so kind and knowledgeable about the swamp and its history. Gave us stories and kayaked around we even saw some big alligators and beautiful wildlife

The kayak experience with ZipNOLA was delightful! Danny is a great guide, and was patient and kind both with a couple who were kayaking for the first time and with me lagging behind and taking tons of pictures!! He stopped often for us to get a break in the shade and to make sure we saw birds, weird insects, tiny frogs, and small alligators. Some of the waterways have been around for over 100 years, and Danny told us the history of the area, including the voodoo story! He explained how cypress logs left underwater get stronger instead of rotting, and plenty of other things about the plants and insects and animals.

This was the best swamp tour in New Orleans! The guides were knowledgeable about the native and invasive plants and animals in the swamp. The scenery was beautiful and the history of the area was fascinating! Highly recommended!
