Our walking food tour in Athens, Greece, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, was another outstanding experience with Eating Europe. This was our second tour with them, and once again, they exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Christina, was absolutely amazing. Her extensive knowledge of Athens, its history, culture, and local traditions made every stop along the tour interesting and engaging. She introduced us to so many delicious local foods and beverages while sharing the stories behind them, making each tasting even more enjoyable. Beyond her knowledge, Christina’s warm personality and enthusiasm made spending a few hours with her an absolute pleasure. She helped us experience Athens in a way we never could have on our own, and it became one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re planning a visit to Athens and are looking for a memorable food tour, we highly recommend Eating Europe. Barbara was an excellent guide, very engaging. We ate quite a variety of delicious Athenian food (definitely come hungry!), there were two other people on the tour so we were swapping stories - Greek, German, Australian which made it even more fun! Highly recommend if you want an overview of Greek food and some of Athens little streets.

Our private tour with Orestes was a wonderful. The food stops were an easy walk apart, and were all unique. He gave us great detail and background about the neighborhoods and food we were sampling. He made sure that all food sensitivities were accommodated, which was very appreciated.
