We had a great Food and Bites Tour with our fantastic guide Astrid. It was entertaining, and during the 4 hours, we had 6 food stops with a variety of samples. (significantly more than just a little bite, you will feel full) I had booked an e-bike for the team, but it really wasn't necessary. The booking process was simple. The tour was without headsets, which was fine for us since the focus was not on information about the city but rather on gaining our own impressions.
I booked this cycling tour from Rotterdam. Unfortunately due to insufficient numbers I was unable to do the bike tour on the day I booked, but I was able to do a walking tour the next day. I was glad that I booked this trip. This was a return trip to Rotterdam for me, and I found that the tour took me to places in Rotterdam that I didn’t see during my first trip, so for that alone, the trip was worth it. I didn’t know that there was a surfing attraction in Rotterdam, but I saw it during the tour. The tour ended at an establishment by the water with amazing views. This is another location in Rotterdam I knew nothing about and didn’t see during my last trip to Rotterdam. There are many establishments where you can eat in Rotterdam, and the places used for our small bites were well chosen.
Thanks for this great review Cormac, glad you enjoyed! Best, Paul.
The riding of the bikes to tour the city of Rotterdam made it so easy to see things. Our guide Astrid had a lot of interesting history to share w us. The food stops were all different and very tasty!
Dear Michelle, Great to hear you enjoyed the bites, the city and your guide Astrid! Have a great rest of your vacation. Best, Paul.
Very nice bike tour including delicious bites at various eateries. We had Rob as our guide this day, a super nice, patient (what do you want with 7 women) man with beautiful stories and facts about the history, architecture and various sights in Rotterdam. We enjoyed it very much. And definitely recommend the bike and bite tour
Hi! Met Rob is het altijd gezellig :), fijn om te horen dat jullie van de tour hebben genoten. Thanks, Paul.
We had an unforgettable day on the Bike and Bites tour in Rotterdam with Rob! Our cruise ship arrived late, but Rob and Paul were incredibly accommodating, working seamlessly to ensure we could still complete tour without missing a beat. Their flexibility and warm, welcoming vibe set the tone for an amazing experience. Rob was fantastic with our kids, keeping them engaged, entertained, and safe throughout the entire tour. His enthusiasm made them feel so special, and they’re still talking about him! The biking route was perfect, showcasing Rotterdam’s vibrant sights, and every food stop was a delicious dive into local flavors that we all loved. Rob’s focus on safety while cycling gave us complete peace of mind, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. This is a fantastic company, and their professionalism, combined with Rob’s outstanding guidance, made this tour a highlight of our trip. We’d book with them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rotterdam!
Dear Andrea, Thanks so much for this review. It was quite the logistical nightmare with the boat coming in so late, but we're very glad we could still accommodate you. Great to hear that you enjoyed the combination of Rob's guidance and the bites so much, we appreciate the feedback. Perhaps welcome you again in the future! All the best, Paul.
My tour guide, Astrid, was absolutely fabulous! Extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. The other participants did not show, and she gave me the best solo tour ever! The food is fantastic and the views memorable. Do it!
Hi Amy, We're lucky to be able to work with Astrid, she's wonderful :). Thanks for the review, I'll let her know! Best, Paul.
Enthusiastic guide. Count at least 30' longer than stated. Sometimes explanation could be a little more concise. Nice food but wouldn't call it a rich lunch now. Brewery we have not passed despite so stated. Dining options have to eat out of the fist once. Seat is not reserved in advance. Fortunately good weather so we could eat outside on a couch in the sun. Final report: certainly nice experience but still pricey all things considered.
Thanks, Paul.
My guide got aick and they asked me if ok to change to a later time. They said they would confirm the time. I received my voucher and it was for 12:30. When I got to the bike place nobody was there. I called, emailed and texted the person and din’t answer any of the three. At the end, I went on the tour and it was ok. Wish we had better food to taste and wish the guy did give us more time to see the architercture and talked more about it.
Hi Adriana, Thanks for your feedback. I contacted you two days in advance to let you know about a sick guide and a change of time, including a 10% discount for your inconvenience. After checking with the other participants I changed the time to 13:30 in the afternoon of the day before your tour, which for some reason was not reflected in your voucher (it was for the other Viator participants). Perhaps you looked at the original message instead of the updated one? Anyways, your refund has been processed, and I hope to welcome you again on another one of our tours. Best, Paul.
I took a bike&bite tour with Astrid who was very kind, knowledgeable and professional. She shared her passion to the city's culture, history, art, food and architecture. It seemed that she really likes what she's doing. We had a great group, a lot of laughs and the bikes were really easy to handle. I recommend this tour very much!
Hi there, Thanks so much, I'll let Astrid know! Best, Paul.
Excellent tour with Bart! Very informative and interesting!! Food was delicious, and Bart added lots of interesting tidbits along the way.
Hi Monica, Great news, thanks for letting us know! Enjoy the rest of your travels and perhaps see you again in another city :). Best, Paul.
