Tour gastronomico guidato di Hell's Kitchen

We had a great experience with Hell's Kitchen food tour. Easy to locate met up spot. Robin was ready to show us the local vibe and eats. She provided Interesting histories, neat local stories, pointed out historic buildings, and had some people watching too! We experienced Asian, local cookie treat, Mexican, Georgian, and Mediterranean! I enjoyed them all but Cheeseboat (Georgian) is one of my new favs! Will go back given the chance to tryout Robin's other recommendations on or near Restaurant Row.

Hells Kitchen is a fascinating NYC neighborhood with an amazing variety of cuisines. Jake, our tour leader, is very knowledgeable and personable. He guided us through the history and the rich sampling of cuisines with great skill. We highly recommend the tour.

Go hungry. It’s a great variety of foods, so give them all a taste, you might be surprised. The guide gives great history of the area, and is very accommodating. Went with a bad back, and she really took care of me. And also, remember to tip, usually $15 - $20 a person is fair.

Highly recommended tour and guide for the stories and getting to know the history of Hell’s Kitchen and NYC. The food sequence and selections could be better. First, when you get you cookie at the second stop - SAVE IT -DONT EAT IT UNTIL THE END. Nonetheless, eating it second did not overwhelm the Taco Majal - delicious. The Georgian cheese boat was interesting but cheesy and SALTY. The last stop was Mediterranean pita, hummus, tzatziki and stuffed grape leaves - would have preferred tasty pastries with an espresso to finish. Despite the need for improvement, Alex saved the tour with his stories.

Excellent tour and guide! Our guide, Alex made this tour top notch! He was so personable and filled with knowledge about the history of Hell's Kitchen...it was so interesting and his anecdotes and trivia on the infamous gangsters of the different time periods were fascinating. Alex brought our tour group of 6 to each restaurant seamlessly with no waiting on tables and our servers being polite and attentive. And the food....delicious! The Japanese BBQ, Indian tiki masala taco, Georgian cheesebread, Mediterranean mezzo, and the Schmackary cookies left us full and happy. A must do experience!

We had a fantastic experience on this small group food tour! All of their tours are small but this one was really small- just three of us! It felt like a private tour which was even better! It took us to five delicious restaurants, each offering amazing bites! It is a lot of food so come hungry! Beyond the food, we loved hearing the stories behind each spot and learning more about the local community—it added so much depth to the experience. Our guide, Dena, was wonderful. She shared so much interesting information along the way and made sure we felt taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore great food and local culture in Hell’s Kitchen!
