I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and our guide Antoine’s manner of sharing his detailed knowledge of Bordeaux’s history, landmarks, and food and wine destinations. It’s a fascinating city and I give him top marks for presenting it so well. I highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to experience the rich history and gastronomic treasures of Bordeaux. Antoine is a wonderful guide- Hecshared lots of history and took us to some really cool places! We loved the food, wine, and sweets! A must do! Neal Kahn

The tour was excellent and Clem is a fabulous guide! We learned about the history of the Chartrons and toured this marvellous area. Clem’s information and knowledge of the wines and history made the tour very engaging and interesting. We cannot recommend Clem and this tour enough - it’s a great way to spend a few hours in Bourdeaux!

I’d probably give 4.5 stars because the meeting area was quite vague. I had to wait for a call from the guide even tho I was 30 minutes early. The tour and the guide Aurélien (sp?) were wonderful but it was a bit noisy and hard to hear. I know I missed a couple of his wonderful witticisms. The history was amazing and wine cellar somm was so knowledgeable and truthful at such a young age. I will be purchasing some wine there for sure !

Stop***** DO NOT BOOK THIS!!!!!!!! If you are on a cruise, you will have NO way to get to this city, and do this excursion. It is an hour and 20 minutes away. The PORT at Rotterdam DOES NOT allow taxi, or prvt cars or shuttles in the port area, only ones hired by the cruise line. You can walk a mile and half to get to a place where a pvt car will pick you up, but that is it. Also the 844 number listed on your ticket will not be answered and your VM will not be return. Leaving a VM for the phone number listed as the host on your ticket will also not be returned. YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND either!!!!!!, Again, DO NOT BOOK THIS EXCURSION!!!!!!!!! were were out over $438.00 US dollars and Viator has refused our request for even a partial refund.

Emily was an excellent guide and an excellent driver on the tour. She loves her job and she loves the wine we tasted. The tour was a good tour of two wineries with different styles and we learned a lot!

We really liked our tour with Clara! It was just my husband & me so we felt like we got tons of information about the area. One highlight was the wine tasting - we got such great information about the regions in Bordeaux & how wine is classified. We have a better idea of what to look for on the label of a Bordeaux wine now! We sampled egg, cheese, chocolates, caneles, & dunes blanches. Everything was delightful.
